Tsuburaya di Yaryamachi è un izakaya il cui fascino risiede nella creatività che supera i confini della cucina giapponese. The fried shrimp set meal is fantastic. The shrimp are large and plump, with a delicious crispy batter. The accompanying side dishes are also substantial, and in a large soup bowl you can taste an oyster ball soup with plenty of vegetables. The tartar sauce is also perfectly balanced and goes well with the fries. The atmosphere of the restaurant is old-fashioned, with counter and table seating. Lunch is a bit expensive, but you get plenty of vegetables and can have another helping of rice, so you will feel satisfied. Barley tea is also a nice touch.
