We offer selected eels such as Hitsumabushi, Grilled Hitsumabushi (whole tail 3950 yen, half tail 3150 yen), Unaju (whole tail 3800 yen, half tail 2900 yen), Kabayaki (3600 yen), and Shioyaki (with salt and lemon or wasabi soy sauce, 3600 yen).
Grilled eel with salt and lemon. You can enjoy the taste of the eel itself. Hitsumabushi is a fragrant grilled eel dish with a bursting umami flavor. It is topped with condiments (green onions, seaweed, wasabi) and eaten as is, then poured with a rich broth to make ochazuke. The combination of broth and eel creates a deeper umami flavor. Unaju, a classic dish at Uojima, features homemade sweet sauce that enhances the deliciousness of the eel in a simple yet satisfying way. Grilled beef fillet steak (Bizen black beef) is a highly fragrant dish with a very tender texture that whets the appetite. The steak and vegetable salad are dressed with Uojima's special dressing. Highly recommended! Awaji Island onion salad is a popular menu item with a refreshing and gentle sweetness. Deep-fried small shrimp uses Okayama's shell-on shrimp, creating a addictive combination of crispiness and sweetness.

We use live skin flounder, quality mackerel, Okayama-grown glass shrimp, live eel, and onions sourced from Awaji Island. The onion varieties are Tarzan (June to March) and Shichihou (April to May), known for their sweetness and fruity flavor. Our beef tenderloin comes from Okayama-grown Bizen black cattle.
