Savor Exquisite Dishes in a Hidden Private Space

Maruyama Maru is a hidden gem located in a quiet area. In a relaxed atmosphere that reflects a spirit of hospitality, each dish, from the carefully crafted appetizers to the main courses, is prepared with great attention to detail. The Italian-inspired cuisine pairs wonderfully with wine, and the rare salmon cutlet is particularly exceptional.

The quiet space feels like anything but a room in an apartment, providing a very calming atmosphere. The style of taking off your shoes and entering made it easy to relax as if I were at home. The tender beef tendon with ponzu and the homemade liver pâté were rich in flavor, making me want to have seconds. The rare fried salmon had a light, crispy coating, while the inside was moist, which was impressive. The sauce with a coffee aroma paired with the pork was irresistibly rich. There was a wide variety of pasta and risotto, and I enjoyed the meal with excitement until the very end.

In a hidden shop located in a condominium room, you feel relieved when you take off your shoes and see tatami mats. The casual and relaxing atmosphere allows you to spend time comfortably, whether with friends or children. The course meal offers a wide variety from appetizers to desserts, satisfying both your stomach and heart. The homemade mackerel and amberjack carpaccio have thick cuts that pair perfectly with the acidity of balsamic vinegar. The lightly battered fried salmon is rare and fluffy inside, and when eaten with sweet onions, it creates a delightful taste. The coffee-flavored sauce with pork and the sanma (Pacific saury) arrabbiata are also impressive, and every dish was delicious enough to go well with wine.

You take off your shoes at the entrance, and a relaxed space unfolds as if you have been invited into a friend's room. There are sofa and chair seating, as well as tatami and floor space, making it safe even for small children. The appetizers, including prosciutto, white liver pâté, and fried olives, pair perfectly with wine, and each dish elevated my mood. The moist yellowtail carpaccio and homemade marinated mackerel are refreshing with vegetables and balsamic sauce, making it hard to stop eating. The rare salmon cutlet and coffee-scented sauce with pork are light in batter and fat, yet substantial, allowing for a delicious experience until the end. The finishing touches of cheese risotto and a milk-rich affogato left me feeling full yet happily lingering, and I was truly satisfied.
