It is an easy-to-find restaurant near the shrine, within walking distance from the station. The whale shabu-shabu is served in a broth rich in kelp flavor, topped with a mountain of green onions, and has a very pleasant texture. When quickly dipped and eaten with ponzu sauce, it is refreshing yet has a delightful chewy texture. The sesame miso flavored udon has flat, thin noodles, which is a bit unusual and I really liked it. You can also order avocado salad, assorted sashimi, ginkgo nuts, and everything is carefully prepared and delicious. The private room with a sunken kotatsu was relaxing, and we were able to spend a leisurely time around the hot pot.
