The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravelly Meadow sparkles on the palate with layers of dark red fruit, mocha, sweet herbs, crushed flowers and spices. Once again the Gravelly Meadow is surprisingly accessible for a young Diamond Creek wine. Hints of raspberry jam, cinnamon and cloves add to an impression of softness and sensuality that is unusual for a young Diamond Creek Cabernet. Anticipated maturity: 2024-2049." The wine builds in power and presence on the palate with cassis, dark fruits, bergamot, dried wild herb, and notes of cigar box and leather. 2016 is expansive and sinewy on the mid palate with a ferrous minerality. 46% Cabernet Sauvignon 31% Cabernet Franc 18% Petit Verdot 5% Merlot

A deep purple color presages an unusual association of black cherries and raspberries on the nose. On the palate, the wine is silky smooth and satisfyingly mouthfilling—again, without being at all cloying. There's a lovely touch of bitterness to the finish, which is refreshingly and delightfully clean

The sensation of blackberry jam, ripe plum and cola nut carry forward on the palate with a mouth coating depth and trailing finish

"Aromas of baking spices, coconut, vanilla, anise and blackberry lead to full-bodied fruit and barrel flavors. Coconut and vanilla notes linger on the finish. The oak plays a very prominent part in the show." Wine Enthusiast

Deceptively sweet aromas of strawberries, raspberries and rose petals. The flavors are dark, rich, lusciously mouthwatering, with cherries, boysenberries, tart plum skins, hints of leather, sweet pipe tobacco, and coffee beans. The tannins are firm, but not a bit edgy and the finish lingers with just a touch of anise. A truly lovely vintage

Characteristic of Clos Du Val's world-class style, the Cabernet Sauvignon continues the winery's tradition of producing truly elegant wines of balance and complexity. Its opulent, brooding purple hue is accentuated with aromas of ripe black and purple fruit, black pepper and subtle hints of toast. The palate displays a seamless integration of intense flavors that include chocolate, toffee and blackberry. The wine has a rich yet powerful mouthfeel marked by focused, silky tannins and a long, lingering finish. Expect this Cabernet Sauvignon to age gracefully for an additional 5-10 years

The Frias 2015 'SMD' (Spring Mountain District) Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied, richly layered and seductively fruited, offering lots of cassis, blueberries and spring flowers intermixed with hints of graphite and baking spice. It finishes long and savory. A gorgeous wine!

This wine is well made and satisfying, opening in a bright sanguine nose of iron and leather. The mid palate is lengthy and graceful, offering a succulence of cassis and black cherry

To help round out the Cabernet Sauvignon, we continued our traditional extended barrel aging program; not to give the wine more oak or vanilla characters, but to give the wine more time in the micro-aerative environment of the barrel to enhance tannin polymerization. For our efforts, we have been rewarded with a rich, full-bodied Cabernet, deep in color. The nose of the wine is lively with essences of dark berries, plum, dark chocolate, and toasty oak. The sweet, supple entry crescendos into a deeply intense middle; followed by a pleasant, velvety, lingering finish

Zuccardi Q Cabernet Franc is sourced from selected vineyards in Paraje Altamira (70% – 3608 ft) and San Pablo (30% – 4593 ft), Uco Valley. It has a ruby red color with firm tannins; great fresh fruit aromas with lush acidity and a long finish. It can be consumed now, but will age beautifully for several years

Pinot Noir is often considered to be one of the noblest grapes, at the top of that pantheon shared by Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Merlot. Located in central Italy along the Tyrrhenian coast, Tuscany is home to some of the world's most notable wine regions. Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are primarily made with Sangiovese grape. In the 1970s a new class of wines known in the trade as "Super Tuscans" emerged. These wines were made outside DOC/DOCG regulations but were considered of high quality and commanded high prices. Many of these wines became cult wines. In the reformation of the Italian classification system many of the original Super Tuscans now qualify as DOC or DOCG wines (such as the new Bolgheri label) but some producers still prefer the declassified rankings or to use the Indicazione Geografica Tipica (IGT) classification of Toscana. Tuscany has five sub-categories of IGT wines today.

California was put on the map thanks to the Paris tasting of '76. Since then the wines have gone stride to stride. This flight highlights two of the lesser know elements of incredible California Cabernet Sauvignon. Hillside fruit is one and the heat of areas like Paso Robles. Balance, extraction and texture are the name of these wines game. Mix that with power and depth and these are true superstars. Mountainside fruit is the most expensive and sought after in California and seen to be the best for a reason. A hint of evergreen as well. It's full bodied, viscous, warming and slightly tannic from very long ageing in wood. Very complete with outstanding length

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast A wonderfully balanced and giving wine with sweet raisin and prune aromas and an overall richness akin to crude oil. It blends wonderfully with dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream and all kinds of sweet desserts. It is best served at room temperature or slightly chilled

The Arneis grape variety, whose origin is lost in the mists of time, is cultivated since ancient times in the hilly and sandy soils of the Roero. Here the Tenuta Fratelli Povero owns the "Terre del Conte" vineyard from which they obtain all the product necessary for the production of their Roero Arneis, a wine that now ranks among the great D.O.C.G. whites of the Italian oenological tradition. This wine is straw white in colour with greenish reflections. It has an intense and fresh fragrance, with a dry and delicate flavour. Its main notes, which may depend on the year, are fresh hay, pippin apple, almond and pineapple. Nose: Rustic notes of oak and fruit, a little menthol. Slightly grassy, followed by sweeter notes of toffee and classic vanilla. Palate: Oak spices, pepper and even some chillies. The palate is thick and full. Notes of citrus with smooth sweetness. The smoke wafts with notes of seaweed. The oak is quite rich with grist and cereal and malt. The finish is of good length with fruit and dry oak

Nose: Citrus zests, crumbly vanilla biscuits and layers of elegant peat smoke. Palate: A generous burst of tropical fruit and dried raisin opens the palate. Warming smoke continues to waft playfully. Finish: Sherried fruits and sprinkle of cracked black pepper

Nose: A whiff of peat greets the nose first – there's no shying away from the peat in this blend. Palate: Deep, earthy notes of tobacco and fruit wood smoke. A pleasantly creamy body without tongue burn, and more wisps of fruit. Subtle but artful. The fruit is present, but weaves into the peat effortlessly. Finish: Medium length. Originally an exclusive for UK supermarket chain Sainsbury's, this whisky was finished in "Port-seasoned" oak barrels (not necessarily Port pipes). Immediately surprising: The nose is rather indistinct, with no real evidence of Port in the mix. This could be any old blend from the smell of things, really just cereal, gentle barrel notes, and a hint of dark molasses. The palate warms up a bit, offering more sweetness than the Bourbon Cask expression, with brown sugar and some dried fruit evident on the tongue. This brightens up the palate a bit and adds some depth to the experience, though the finish remains on the doughy side

This blended Scotch was "mostly aged in American Oak and first-fill bourbon casks." The impact of bourbon oak is well evident here, with toasty wood, fresh cut lumber, and some bacon fat notes clear on the nose. Aromatically it's fairly indistinct — this could be any number of whiskies based on the way it smells. On the tongue, there's more going on, the whisky settling into a more familiar blended Scotch routine. Smoky burnt caramel notes mix with a cereal-driven malt body, though the granary notes here feel a little raw and underdeveloped. The finish is particularly short, with a dry, pretzel-like character that leaves you hanging a bit

This is not technically part of the Cask Series, but rather a tweaked version of the standard Famous Grouse that incorporates a higher proportion of sherry cask-aged whiskies as well as a finishing session of "up to 6 months" time in second-fill sherry casks. The sherry is evident on the nose, with a solid punch of citrus and a light brine. Notes of white pepper give it a kick, though it's quite light on its feet. The palate is a bit more assertive than the prior two whiskies, presenting a classic nuts-and-orange-oil note, folded into a body reminiscent of apple cider. The body is chewy and rounded, and the pepper notes on the nose return for the finish, which is short but a bit leathery at times

Slane Irish Whiskey takes many of its complex and smooth qualities from our signature Triple Casked process. Whiskey is aged in three varieties of casks: Virgin and Seasoned casks raised by hand at the venerated Brown-Forman Cooperages – and Oloroso sherry casks by way of Jerez in Spain. Once the liquid has been aged to perfection, it is masterfully blended to create an exceptional Irish whiskey

The Founder's Reserve is a unique take on the old Irish Pot Still Whiskey and is the original and signature blend created by founder Bernard Walsh. It is a blend of two styles, Single Malt and Single Pot Still. The proportions used are 70% Single Malt and 30% Single Pot Still. This is unusual in itself, as it is the only Irish blended whiskey to contain 100% whiskey distillates from the copper pot still and 0% Grain or Column still whiskey. This results in a much more flavoursome whiskey. The Founder's Reserve is triple distilled and matured in Bourbon Casks. A zesty spice, with hints of black pepper, cinnamon and peaches. A slight hint of vanilla too, with a suggestive savour of green apple on the nose. Flavours of Pot Still spice, malt, dark chocolate, bourbon oak, and crème caramel with an everlasting finish with oak and butterscotch. Lingers for what seems like an eternity!

Aromas of roasted nuts, nougat, and mild oak precede a palate that is honeyed and rich in texture. The finish brings forth the malt component, allowing a keen graininess to move to the forefront. This deep copper-colored bourbon has interesting fruity aromatics that really open up with a few drops of spring water. On the palate, it is bold and hot, with flavors of bananas flambé, white raisin, ginger liqueur, prune, caramel and vanilla. The finish is sweet, with lingering warmth from the alcohol

The rum finishing is noticeable yet not overbearing, as a hint of molasses weaves its way throughout. The nose is sweet and enjoyable with vanilla, brown sugar, brown butter, light grain, and a touch of ethanol present. The juicy sip carries forward the molasses and also brings forward rye spice, pepper, vanilla, and oak. It finishes with a warming spicy rye heat, and vanilla, aged oak, brown sugar, and leather are sprinkled throughout

A deep, satisfying nose of nutmeg and spices. Powerful dry vanilla notes in harmony with hints of honey amid strong caramel and corn. A medium finish composed of returning corn and nutmeg flavors

The series is named after the late Heaven Hill Master Distiller Parker Beam who passed away as a result of ALS (otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's disease). Like each Parker's Heritage Collection release since 2013's "Promise of Hope," a portion of the proceeds for each bottle sold will be donated to the ALS Association in his honor

This straight rye whiskey was aged in new handmade charred oak barrels. In traditional barrel making, the cooper heats the staves over a fire of oak chips, allowing them to be bent and formed into a barrel. During this process, the inside of the barrel becomes lightly toasted. By the early 19th century, coopers had learned that if they allowed the heat to continue, the inside of the barrel would burst into flames and become charred. Handmade oak barrels-charred in this traditional manner-impart a rich color and unique character to this rye whiskey

To the nose, the rye forms a beautiful base of vanilla, caramel and cinnamon; the pot barrels enhance with plums and dried fruits. The taste is a proper Christmas plum pudding with lovely mulling spices, dried fruits and creme anglaise. A long and fruit finish

The nose is as distinct as the color, with a clear rye spice sandwiched between a sweet rum note along with vanilla and gingerbread. It's surprising just how pronounced the rum is on the nose

Nose: Vibrant fruit emerges first (peach flesh and green apple peels), followed by chewy vanilla fudge, a hint of salinity, then an array of oak-y spices including some char. Palate: Opens with more fudge with a little dusting of powdered sugar. Powerful, oily and a touch herbaceous with some German brandy character. Finish: Sherried notes come through more on the finish

Each cask is chosen for its rare character and exceptional maturity. Finished in deep charred oak, the result is an exceptionally smooth single malt whisky whose aroma and flavor work in harmony. Bottled in the traditional way straight from the cask and without filtration, its subtle wood and vanilla flavor is enhanced by a full bodied spicy fruit aroma and mildly smokey aftertaste

The result is a richer, darker, more chocolaty version of Macallan with a thicker profile and a complex palate of raisins, sultana, orange peel, and ginger

Nose: Citrus blossom, hot chocolate, cardamom seed, treacle. Palate: Quince, salted butter, poached pear, a hint of cigar box. Finish: Lasting cinnamon and raisin, with a touch of lemon

Color: Sunlit barley. Aroma: Vanilla and toffee with notes of oak, nutmeg and ginger and lemon basil and pear. Palate: Fresh and sweet with caramel moving into poached peaches and ripe pear. Quickly followed by a toffee sweetness with light oak spices in the form of nutmeg and hints of ginger in the background. Finish: Long and sweet

Appearance / Color: Gold. Nose / Aroma / Smell: Citrus aromas of lemon and orange are dominant, supported by hints of vanilla and oak. Flavor / Taste / Palate: Full-bodied vanilla character with notes of orange, ginger and nutmeg. Finish: Medium, sweet and oaky finish

The palate is rich in dried fruits, spices, orange, cloves and wood smoke, before a full and lingering finish with sweet toffee, ginger and a hint of smoke

Nose: Fragrant citrus blossom and baked apple, with a hint of balsa wood and dry peat. Palate: Floral notes remain at the fore, with touches of forest floor, apricot and kumquat developing in the background. Finish: Slightly peppery, earthy vanilla pod and a whiff of pine

The color: red plum The nose: Fruity, floral and aromatic with a hint of mystical incense and sparkling orange. Notes of candle wax, some sandalwood and a hint of dark chocolate. With a dash of water, the bouquet continues to reveal aromas of chocolate truffles, coconut, marshmallows or lokum, and a subtle hint of rich oak. The palate: a lush, velvety texture. Notes of fruit candy, sweet tangerine, chocolate truffle, aromatic wood and a lasting sweetness. Intense notes of mint chocolate keep all aromas together. The finish: Long lasting with chocolate, mint, oranges, nuts and a hint of tobacco

Crafted in small batches using those traditional 19th century production methods, each whisky is bottled with no chill-filtration, offering the additional complexity, greater body and distinctively creamy texture of a whisky that has just been drawn from the cask. Finished in peated casks, the classic, smooth and fruity house style that has made the range so famous has been enriched with gentle, aromatic smoky notes, to offer a brand new The Glenlivet experience

Crisp, fresh and slightly oily Caol Ila-like aromas with sweet barley, manure, waxy lime, lemon , malt biscuits and earthy peat. Quite light on the oak character which allows the freshness to come through uninhibited. The palate is fresh, citric and lightly oily with a touch of brine. Lovely complexity of earthy and sweet, heathery peat with a touch of waxy citrus and white fruit on the middle

Swirling aromas and torrents of deep, peaty, peppery taste lurk beneath the surface of this beautifully balanced dram. Like the whirlpool itself, Corryvreckan is not for the faint-hearted. A deliciously deep, powerfully peaty and wonderfully wild whisky

Outstanding richness and sheen to the enormous of being caressed by molassed sugar and then a ratching up of the peat notes. The experience becomes a little bit drier and spicier

Earthy aromas and flavors of saddle leather and soap, white chocolate toffee, banana raisin muffin, and clay with a satiny, dryish medium-to-full body and a tingling, stimulating, medium-long honeyed dried fruits, brown spices, minerals, and tobacco leaf finish. BLEND | 100% Gamay VINEYARDS | Chiroubles is considered "the most Beaujolais of the Crus" with its thin sandy, degraded granite soils (known locally as gore) that produce very delicate wines. Passot's plots are 50 year old vines on slopes oriented to the southeast at 300-400 meters (the highest altitude in Beaujolais). WINEMAKING | Hand harvested grapes that undergo primary and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and cement vats. TASTING NOTES | Glisser en bouche - easy to like! On the palate, the wine is fleshy and round with a nice liveliness and red fruits aromas of blackcurrant and cherry with a subtle spicy finish

Also from parcels heavily infused with granite, the Fleurie « Grand Pré" is the classic, workhorse wine of this estate. From vines with an average age of forty (40) years, this Fleurie undergoes a cuvaison between 10 and 15 days, the length of which depends on the underlying structure of the grapes from each specific vintage. The wine is generally supple, round and fruity and, although delicious in its youth, it can support several years of age, after which additional nuance is found in both bouquet and flavor

With dark spices and stones, this is quite savory and has some cocoa powder, orange zest, graphite and less pepper and spices; it sits more in the earthy and stony spectrum. The palate's a very smooth, elegant and contained impression, showing fine, supple and velvet-like texture, sweet fruit, great depth and finally a pristine plum and dark-cherry-stone finish. Very fine now, but this has the pedigree for 15+ years

Exposure South, South-East Age of the vines from 16 to 50 years old Soil Chalky/clayey, shallow Harvest period October Yield per hectare 70 quintals/hectare of grapes Plants per hectare 4.000 Growing system Guyot Winemaking The freshly harvested grapes are destemmed, pressed and then left in small vats for 72 hours at a temperature of 10°C, for pre-fermentation steeping, in this way the characteristics of this vineyard are highlighted. This is followed by fermentation with gentle steeping at a temperature of 16°C. Drawing-off takes place when the product is fully dry, after an additional fermentation for 20-25 days on the skins. Then the malolactic bacteria transform the malic acid and the wine will be ready to be transferred for the ageing process. Ageing The wine remains for 12 months in small barrels of French oak and after that, it completes its ageing process in traditional barrels for a further 12 months, until it reaches its peak of well-balanced savour. It is then transferred to bottles, where it matures for at least 6 months before being sold. Tasting notes This Barolo, from the Cerrati cru vineyard, has an intense aroma that makes it an ideal meditation wine: the floral hints of eglantine are accompanied by a touch of mint and thyme, then the fruity elements of cherry and freshly pressed blackcurrants emerge, followed by overtones of undergrowth and mushroom. Our philosophy is best exemplified by the Babylonstoren logo, which consists of the pipe, representing the farm, the flower, representing the garden and the bird, representing nature, combines the very essence of Babylonstoren and that is keeping things simple and as true to the earth as possible. This is exactly what we aim to achieve in our wines – truth and simplicity. True to the area we are situated in, the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, and simplicity, by making it as natural as possible

"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravelly Meadow sparkles on the palate with layers of dark red fruit, mocha, sweet herbs, crushed flowers and spices. Once again the Gravelly Meadow is surprisingly accessible for a young Diamond Creek wine. There is plenty of underlying tannin, however, and my impression is that this is a rare 2009 that hasn't yet begun to close down in bottle. Hints of raspberry jam, cinnamon and cloves add to an impression of softness and sensuality that is unusual for a young Diamond Creek Cabernet. Anticipated maturity: 2024-2049." Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

A slightly cooler growing season, 2016 produced a smaller than normal crop that benefited from an extended hang time. This new vintage of Continuum shows delicacy on the nose with citrus blossom and rose petal aromas.

Basement IPA is balanced with a nice malty body that creates a sweet finish and developed hop notes in every sip. There is a hint of alcohol heat on the way down for this hop forward northeast style IPA. Beer geeks rejoice but you have to leave your parent's basement because for now Basement IPA is only at your local establishment
