I was interested in this restaurant after seeing it featured on TV.
I felt that 400 yen for two gunkan (warships) was expensive, but considering the bold presentation of the fish, which looked as if it was about to spill off the plate (it did spill off the warships, lol), and the taste of the fish, which was so good that I wondered what the middle portion was...I thought it was pretty good. I think it is a very good price considering the bold presentation and the tasty fish.
I don't drink alcohol, so I don't really know what I'm talking about, but my companion was happy to hear that a liter of beer is cheap at 1,000 yen! My companion was pleased. The homemade liquors such as biwa and kumquat are also delicious! Yes, they are!
The manager's pleasant greeting and the little waitress (daughter?) who was helping out so hard were very much appreciated. The manager's pleasant greeting and the little waitress (daughter?) doing her best to help make the place a very cozy izakaya. I want to go back!
