Kuwana's Clam Specialty Restaurant
A restaurant that, as the name suggests, specializes only in clams.
A large basket at the counter is filled with clams.
You choose one from the ladle or net next to it and scoop it up!
With the scooped clams, you can have grilled clams, clam shabu shabu, clam tempura, and clam miso soup.
I scooped up 12 clams!
This is an average, but the highest ever was 16 clams!
It's fun to challenge the highest record with everyone!
You can add butter, sudachi (citrus fruit), soy sauce and other flavors to the grilled clams, but I prefer to eat them simply as they are ♡♡♡♡♡!
Tempura is delicious with a crispy batter that still retains its plumpness!
After the shabu-shabu, add rice and egg to make zosui (rice porridge).
The clam broth is delicious!
In my opinion, it would have been better if there was some kind of dessert.
But after all, natural clams are exceptional!
