On the second day of my petit trip to Oita, I went to Coffeeshop haze ( ) for lunch 😋🍽 I got there around past midnight and was able to sit at one table that was open at the right time! There seemed to be quite a few male customers 😳. The daily special that day was something like tomato cheese chicken 🍅🧀🐔 We both chose the daily special without hesitation. The daily special comes with a main dish, two side dishes, a Spanish omelette-like dish, a salad, soup, cereal rice, and a drink. The main chicken was cooked just right and juicy. The taste is also good to go with rice 🍚. You can't go wrong with tomatoes and cheese 🍅🧀👍 There were two side dishes: one with kiriboshi daikon, cucumber, etc. dressed with mayonnaise and one that tasted like a green curry. The kiriboshi-daikon with mayonnaise has a good polypoly texture. 🙆‍♀️ The green curry-like dish is spicy but mild. It also goes well with rice. The omelette is also delicious. The soup of the day was consomme soup. It had a gentle taste. The rice is cereal rice with a sprinkling of yukari. The quantity is just right! Drinks are coffee or tea. I heard the coffee was good, so I had an iced coffee. It was rich and tasty. The volume is quite large, the seasoning is to my liking, the tableware is stylish, and it is a cosy cafe that I would like to visit again ☕✨ haze does not seem to accept reservations for lunch, so I recommend going early!
