Uni bowls!
I wanted to go there so badly after reading the review of this sea urchin bowl!
You get a box of sea urchin on a bed of rice!
Doesn't that make you really excited?
Shusenbou Kinsei is just a 10-minute walk from Chidoribashi Station.
Reservation for 3 people for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
My friend was informed that he was 30 minutes late, and then another friend was also 30 minutes late!
I was also 15 minutes late, causing a lot of inconvenience to the restaurant!
The proprietress smiled and said, "Don't worry about it!
The restaurant has a counter, tables, and tatami room, and was fully booked on the day I visited!
It seems to be very popular.
The menu is as follows
Sashimi, tempura, grilled fish, boiled fish, and a la carte
There are so many different kinds of dishes on the menu that you will have a hard time deciding which one to choose!
My friend reserved a box of sea urchin and assorted sashimi in advance!
We ordered
Assorted sashimi
Sea urchin bowl 1,880 yen
Shrimp tempura
Mochi tempura 300 yen
Vinegared ponzu shirako (soft roe) 480 yen
Vinegared oysters 380 yen
Osuke (thin slices of raw fish and vegetables)
Assorted sashimi, there was one for each of us.
There were many kinds, and the portions were large and thick!
Sweet shrimp, octopus, squid, yellowtail, tuna, scallop, mackerel...
All of them are fresh, sweet and very tasty!
Uni-don! Today's main dish!
Three girls got together for this!
We were served a box of sea urchin, rice, and chopped nori seaweed, and everyone did as they pleased to make a sea urchin bowl!
The sea urchin is a bit alum-yellowish, but sticky and delicious!
Just putting the sea urchin on rice from the box is enough to get you all excited!
The shrimp tempura and rice cake tempura are also lightly battered and crispy! Eating them with ten-tsuyu (soy sauce) is a nice shun!
Milt ponzu is freshly boiled and warm!
I haven't had warm albacore so often, so it's rich, creamy, warm and delicious!
Vinegared oysters are also very tasty and have no smell!
The beauty of this restaurant is not only the delicious food, but also the cosmetics!
It may be hard to understand because I didn't put the menu on the table.
The prices are moderate, but the portions are also very generous!
And yet, the food is fresh and delicious, and the owner is very kind.
What a wonderful restaurant!
It's a bit remote and difficult to get to, and they close early in the evening.
But there seems to be no doubt that it is a wonderful place!
Kinsen is worth going all the way for!
I would love to go back. !!!!
