Soul food of Yodogawa Ward residents!

Souvenirs for my partner and at my friend's house.
For my friend, a bite of honey bean
I only took a picture of it, but I didn't eat it!
I'm glad she said it was delicious!
Strawberry cake for my partner
Actually, he doesn't really like to eat strawbaked rice cakes!
As a result, I'm glad he liked this one so much!
The rice cake is very resilient!
They are not cut like momen, so you have to use a knife or something to cut them!
The strawbali rice cake itself has a slight sweetness, so it is like a sweet rice cake!
The soybean flour is also sweet, but not too sweet.
I end up pouring a lot of it on it (lol).
I heard that there is molasses for an extra 30 yen, but I didn't get an explanation.
I wish I could have tried it with kuromitsu!
I'm glad to have found something other than mitarashi in Kihachi-shu!
But I've never looked at anything other than mitarashi until now...
I will broaden my horizons from now on!

I've lived in Yodogawa for over 20 years now...
As long as I live in Yodogawa, I can't help but introduce this place to you!
Kihachi-shu is a long-established Japanese confectionery established in 1948.
After all, the most popular item is Mitarashi!
I think there is no one who lives in Yodogawa who does not know Kihachi-shu.
This mitarashi is baked to order!
They ask you if you want it lightly or firmly charred. I usually go for normal!
The sauce is added right after baking, so it is freshly made.
They also ask you if you want more or less. I prefer less.
I don't like the sauce on the handle!
I can't get enough of the burnt rice cake and the soy-sauce sweetness of the sauce!
I'll make love to you right away!
I'll make love to you!
If it gets cold, you can warm it up in the microwave to make it softer.
I hope it will be the soul food of Yodogawa for a long time to come!
