The top of a tree is a special seat!　@Wakayama Kamitonda | Delicious food and happiness♪ BayBerryCafe opened on June 21! We visited the pre-opening! Thank you! The location is next to Kamitonda Sports Center It's a bit far from the station, so I guess you need a car to get there. The inside of the store has a natural atmosphere. There are flowers and greenery here and there, so you can relax. And then there is the terrace. I heard that you can have a barbecue here. A nice place is here! Up the stairs, there is a nice seat just for 4 people! It's on top of a tree! And this tree! It is a "Yamamomo", the local tree of Kamitonda! Look! You see the red berries? With permission, I tried to eat one... I thought they were sour, but they were surprisingly sweet! It's nice to take in something locally grown! The owner of this shop is from here! Made from local products, syrup. Drinks made with this would be delicious! Since this is a pre-opening, we received some of their recommended products! ■Tapioca drink Tapioca drinks are all the rage in Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto, and there are plenty of stores, but not yet in Wakayama Prefecture! But here's some good news for people in Wakayama Prefecture! You can get fresh tapioca drinks here! From left to right: brown sugar, protein, yamamomo, green tea, and milk tea. The protein drink is placed next to the sports center. The cups are generously sized and filled with chunky tapioca! The yamamomo was especially delicious! Tapioca Bayberry Shaved Ice Fluffy milk shaved ice! The top is filled with yamamomo (Japanese yam) syrup and the bottom is filled with tapioca! This yamamomo is not too sweet and not too sour, so it is very tasty! The ice is soft and fluffy, not sharp, so I'm sure many people will be ordering it this coming season! Chocolate Banana Pancakes Mango Cheese Pancakes Both pancakes are three thin pancakes stacked on top of each other! Even though they are thin, they are beautifully browned, fluffy, and have a milky flavor. The chocolate banana pancake is a classic, but the mango cheese pancake is tropical and rich and creamy with plenty of cheese cream and fruit. Seasonal Fruit Parfait Grapes are the main fruit at this time of year, but there is always something new to enjoy each season! The skin of a bear with a chocolate face on it! So cute! I'm sure your kids will love it! The volume of the parfait is quite large, but you won't get tired of eating it until the end! I think that's the most important thing in a parfait! Amazing! It's fun and full of attractive sweets! I'm sure there are a lot of people who have been looking forward to this kind of cafe for a long time! I don't know the specifics of the menu since it hasn't opened yet, but I'm sure it will be a wonderful café! It is only a 15-minute drive from Shirahama Station, so you can go there on your way home from an adventure, or you can combine your visit with any other trip since it is only a 20-minute drive from Shirahama Beach!
