We offer freshly grilled eel that is prepared after your order, available for takeout to enjoy at home or at work. Orders placed on-site will take about 20 minutes, but if you make a reservation in advance, we can prepare it for your desired time. Please feel free to contact us by phone. Additionally, the bento with rolled omelet, which resumed sales in October, features a luxurious combination of soft, flavorful dashimaki tamago made with Kobayashi Gold Eggs from Tokushima Prefecture and fluffy, fragrant eel. Although it is indicated as seven-tenths, this unaju uses six pieces cut from one eel divided into eight portions. Many first-time customers order this, thinking one eel might be a bit much, but the eels from our specialty shop are not heavy and can be enjoyed lightly, so most customers choose one eel on their second visit and beyond.

This is the unaju that many customers envision before arriving at our restaurant. Our establishment specializes in charcoal-grilled eel, so the skin is crispy, the surface is crunchy, and the flesh has a fluffy texture. Everyone is amazed by this texture. Inspired by the customer's question, 'Do you have Hitsumabushi?', we have created a unique Hitsumabushi featuring eel grilled to perfection over charcoal and our secret broth. Enjoy the first bite without any additions to savor the natural flavors. After that, feel free to add condiments, and for the last bite, enjoy it with the broth... you can eat it however you like. Our hitsumabushi is dedicated to condiments that elevate flavor to the utmost. We use authentic wasabi from Shizuoka Prefecture, a renowned production area, and grate it fresh in-house for each order to maximize its refreshing aroma and intense flavor. Additionally, we use high-quality nori from the Ariake Sea in Kumamoto Prefecture, known for its fragrant aroma and excellent melt-in-your-mouth texture. These carefully selected condiments make our hitsumabushi an even more special dish.

The dashi for hitsumabushi is made from thick 'kashira' kelp sourced from the southern region, extracting a deep umami flavor. Additionally, we use high-quality bonito flakes processed in Shizuoka from fresh bonito caught domestically, adding a rich aroma and intense flavor. The hitsumabushi at Unatomi features a special dashi that highlights the umami and aroma derived from these two carefully selected ingredients. We invite you to enjoy it at least once.

This dish is worthy of being our signature menu item, expertly grilled by our craftsmen for each order. We use special eggs for making dashi rolls from Kobayashi Gold Egg in Tokushima Prefecture. The rich flavor is characterized by the yolk and thick egg white that can be picked up with chopsticks, which hold the dashi well. We also use eel that has been cooled and processed to remove small bones. Please enjoy it with Tsukudani of Aomi Sansho from Takarazuka Kiyokojin.

How about something sweet to savor the happiness? Tokushima Prefecture's wasanbon is finely granulated, making it smooth and melt-in-your-mouth, characterized by its elegant sweetness and flavor. The generous amount of soybean flour is made from Tokachi Toyomasari soybeans from Hokkaido. It is a fragrant soybean flour with a strong natural sweetness from a variety that is particular about Hokkaido.
