I went to the recommended restaurant!

Drinking in my hometown
Again, we went to a restaurant recommended by the organizer!
Isaoya is also recommended by B-chan, a junior colleague of mine.
It's been a year since our last visit...
Main genre is Yakitori restaurant!
However, there are so many a la carte Japanese creations that it is totally OK to use it as an izakaya (Japanese style bar)!
We visited at 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday and the place was so busy that smoke was coming out of the ventilation fan!
It was a great decision to make a reservation!
The menu is as follows

There is more on the menu than this...!
Most of the orders are left up to you!
Tsukidashi
The tsukidashi is as classy as ever, and the gap between a wai wai izakaya and a classy tsukidashi is very interesting!
Whale cutlet
The two who arrived before us ordered the whale cutlet!
It was tender and delicious!
Whale... I think this is the first time I've ever eaten whale!
Duck Wasa
A regular's recommendation!
The juicy duck fat and wasabi really tightens it up!
Delicious! So good I ordered another plate!
Charcoal-grilled peach with Hyuga Jidori chicken
I definitely order this dish at every restaurant that serves it!
The texture is firm and the aroma of the charcoal and the yuzu kosho (Japanese citrus pepper) on it is just perfect!
I prefer it darker though...
Dashimaki Tamago (rolled egg)
It's not on the menu, but they made it for us!
It is soft and fluffy with sweet soup stock!
Thank you for your time!
Hatsu (pork cutlet), back liver, zuri, tsukune, curry & cheese
You can order skewers with a minimum order of two skewers!
I don't mind it because there were 5 of us this time, but I don't think I could eat so much if I was alone...!
The sauce here is not too sweet, so even if you don't like sweet, it's okay!
Nothing is different from the last time I went there with my junior!
I think that alone shows how much is on the menu here!
It's so easy to use!
I enjoyed the food so much more this time than last time!
Maybe it was because of the interesting conversation with your companions?
I will come back again!

Dinner with B-chan, a junior staff member, in the middle of the Bon Festival!
Oh, what's that? I was with her at yesterday's review, lol.
Yes, we talked about having dinner in the middle of the Bon Festival.
She wants to explore new local restaurants!
But when we called a few restaurants we found that they were closed...
Oh well - that's right!
We decided to take a bike ride and hang around and go to a restaurant that my junior often goes to!
From Higashimikuni Station, it would be about a 5-minute walk!
The store is located right behind Sawai Seiyaku.
Inside the restaurant, there are tables and a counter.
There is also a semi-private room? There is also a semi-private room.
The menu is usually left up to my junior.
Potato salad ? yen
Seared Momo (thigh) with negi bukkake: 980 yen
Tataki of Kyoto duck 1,250 yen
Steamed Hamaguri (clams) with sake, Handa nyumen 780 yen
Shime saba (mackerel) sandwich: 680 yen
Lotus root bun 580 yen
Potesara is my choice
Because it's a speedy menu and I like potatoes
The potato salad here was smooth, but it could have used a little more punch to keep it interesting!
Seared Momo (thigh) and Tataki (duck)
I can't believe we can eat Miyazaki's local chicken here!
I love the texture of this chewy chicken!
I had it with a light ponzu sauce, but I preferred the char-grilled flavor!
The duck tataki was also firm and chewy!
I felt like I was in the same boat as the others.
And then, my junior-chan recommended the steamed clam with sake and handa nyumen!
She said that when she comes here, she orders a plate for each of us!
Indeed, this is so delicious!
It's nyumen with a nice broth of hamaguri (clams)!
This nyumen is soft and soaks into your body!
But it tastes even better in winter!
I was curious about the shime saba (mackerel) sandwich.
Well... I guess bread and mackerel should be served separately...
And finally, lotus root buns!
Crispy on the outside and sticky on the inside, with a delicious starchy broth!
It was a dish suitable for shime!
But, my junior ate corn and sweets before going out for dinner...
She said she didn't eat much even though she ordered so much!
When she was full, she would just pour the food onto the plate of someone who was good at it.
I'm glad you took the initiative to share, but it's not the same thing!
Don't do that on a date.
Thanks for the food Samantha~♪♪♪
A variety of chicken dishes @ Higashimikuni - Delicious food and happiness!
I was told by someone at work that we were suddenly going out for dinner! We suddenly decided to go out for dinner!
Of course, it was my role to choose the restaurant! My role!
They were chicken lovers, so we decided to go to our favorite chicken barbecue restaurant, but it was closed!
But no problem!
There are so many yakitori restaurants in the Higashimikuni area that it is called the yakitori battle zone!
We considered many things and decided to go to "Isaoya" this time!
The location is about a 5-minute walk southwest from Higashimikuni Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line.
There are many restaurants in the area!
Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats in the front and table seats in the back.
We visited with a reservation, but there were quite a few customers.
If you have a lot of people, I think it is better to make a reservation.
There are a lot of chicken dishes and izakaya menu!
There are so many kinds of dishes that it is hard to decide which one to order!
Tsukidashi!
The tsukidashi of this restaurant comes out like this!
Three bite-sized dishes!
All of them are very elaborate!
If you get something that is skimpy just because it's tsukidashi, it's enough to make you lose interest in the dish.
Camembert Caesar Salad
A whole Camembert is placed on top of the salad!
It's a very mild cheese, so you can eat it with a salad that's easy to eat, and it won't spoil the salad at all.
Seared tuna cheek
Oh, it's so bold! It came in a bold way!
The inside was finished rare, and the aroma of the charcoal was fragrant!
I had it with ponzu (Japanese sauce made from ponzu citrus juice), and it was delicious, just like meat!
Seared pork thigh with negi bukkake!
The aroma of this dish is also good because it is grilled over charcoal!
The thigh was so tender and plump that I couldn't stop myself from eating it!
Duck tataki
A beautiful pink color!
The duck's firm elasticity and rich flavor will make your sake go down a treat!
The companion's drinking pace quickens as he goes on and on!
Man's Sweet and Sour Pork
I was full, so I had a little bit of it!
The pork was colonized and juicy!
I would have said, "Please give me white rice! It was so homey and sweet that it made me say "Please give me white rice!
The nostalgic taste made me crave for white rice!
But there was no way I could eat it, so I decided not to!
We also ordered some yakitori (grilled chicken), so we were full!
The members of the group that day were those who didn't eat much and drank alcohol, and those who ate a lot and drank alcohol,
Most of the food was eaten by people who eat a lot!
Delicious! Delicious! I'm glad I chose this place because it was well-received and people were saying "I really liked it there" later.
The only thing is that they don't have sashimi, even though it's a chicken restaurant!
That's a little disappointing.
It is close to the station and always crowded!
The manager, who is a bit of a loose character, is also quite funny!
Thank you for the food!
