This matcha contains a high amount of traditional Uji hand-picked matcha, blended primarily from the premium varieties 'Asahi' and 'Samidori' from Kyoto, which account for less than 1% of Japan's total tea production. Its strong umami and gentle flavor are sometimes expressed overseas with the word 'serenity' (≒ peace of mind). In the tea ceremony world, it is regarded as a top-quality product that can be treated as thick tea.
Soft and high-quality tea leaves nurtured by the underground water of the Southern Alps and the deep mountain mist in the midstream area of the Abe River in central Shizuoka Prefecture. This is an Earl Grey made by infusing the aroma of bergamot, typically used in black tea, into sencha. A remarkable product where the vibrant aroma of lemon at the top beautifully marries with the fresh green scent of sencha that comes in the latter half.
A Japanese black tea grown in the Kōtsu River basin in central Shizuoka Prefecture. The high-quality tea leaves nurtured by mountain mist are fermented to highlight a tartness reminiscent of green apples. This product offers a refreshing quality similar to sencha while simultaneously providing the robust feel of black tea.
