Modern Wagashi
Finally! Finally! We were able to visit this store!
I've been BMing about this Mochi Takumi Shizuku for a long time!
When I first saw the raspberry daifuku, I was amazed at how bright it was!
The store was not like a Japanese confectionery shop. I had to look twice. I had to look twice!
You don't see many Japanese confectionery shops that are all concrete, do you?
When you enter the store, there is an eat-in space with counter seats in the back.
I wanted to take a break here, but I didn't have much time, so I decided to take some home.
Japanese sweets lined up in a row, but the Daifuku stands out the most!
Two kinds of Daifuku were already sold out!
The description of the Daifuku looked so delicious that I wanted to try it!
I really want to get some this winter!
The four items I bought home were
Chocolate Daifuku
Bitter chocolate that is packed tightly!
Heavy chocolate!
It has a mature taste and would go well with a cup of astringent tea!
Kuri kinton (chestnuts)
I thought it would be smooth, but it was surprisingly firm.
It is chestnut-like, and you can enjoy the ingredients and not feel any strange sweetness.
Hozuki
I bought it because it was so rare!
I think this may be the first time I have eaten hozuki.
The skin is firm and a little sour.
It is interesting that this is made into Japanese sweets!
Framboise Daifuku
This is the specialty here!
It's really beautiful and enchanting!
It has a pleasant tartness that children may not like.
You've really created an amazing work of art!
You can tell that a lot of work went into each one, and you can feel the care and attention to detail that went into the ingredients.
That's why the unit price is a little high.
I think it's a good idea to try it and see if it's worth it.
And I wonder if the candy is a little stoic?
More like a work of art than a Japanese confectionery
And the store feels like a gallery.
