This is a locally distributed sake brewed by Takagi Shuzo, known for 'Juyondai' in Yamagata Prefecture. Juyondai has become synonymous with hard-to-obtain sake, and while it is rarely seen in its hometown, 'Asahi Taka' is mostly available only at the brewery's doorstep. It has a slightly sweet aroma and a smooth taste, offering a soft flavor reminiscent of ginjo despite being a honjozo, with a fresh texture on the palate, one cup.
Aomori Prefecture Nishida Sake Brewery is committed to brewing Junmai sake.
