Each dish is carefully prepared with seasonal ingredients that remind us of the arrival of early summer. The fresh aroma of fresh onions and fresh ginger, lush summer vegetables, sweetfish and eel in season, and other seasonal bounty are used in abundance. Fresh aroma, lush vegetables, and in-season seafood. This is a seasonal course featuring ingredients unique to early summer. While respecting the original flavors of the ingredients, we have added Japanese techniques and a playful touch that is typical of Aki's counter. Please enjoy the cool aftertaste of early summer.
This month's theme is "A Small Trip to Asia". Seasonal ingredients from all over Japan are combined with Asian spices and cooking methods to create a different landscape with each dish. Please take your time and enjoy the new taste of Japanese and Asian cuisine.
Gathering Spring. This month's Akino counter is a special course featuring a small collection of spring bounty such as wild vegetables, spring vegetables, and seafood. Each dish expresses the aromas and flavors unique to spring, such as bittersweet mountain vegetable fritters, colorful spring vegetable terrine, and spring rolls with mackerel and rape blossoms. Enjoy this spring-only course and feel the budding season.
Taste the blessings of the New Year. This month's Akino counter offers a limited New Year's course, sprinkled with ingredients that remind us of the afterglow of the New Year. In addition to such auspicious ingredients as salmon roe, herring roe, and black soybeans, we have prepared winter delicacies such as crab, cold yellowtail, and monkfish liver. The sukiyaki of Matsusaka beef is prepared in front of the guests, giving them a sense of live performance. To top off the meal, guests will enjoy grilled savory rice balls in a dashi chazuke-style broth. This is a course that only Akino's counter can offer to start off the new year.
For December, we are offering a creative course with a Western flair, just like Aki's counter. Please enjoy the 10-course meal to close out the year in a gorgeous and elegant manner.
