I guess the atmosphere is better at night than during the day. My friend got a coupon for a great deal, so I went there! It was a weekday after 1:00 p.m. and the place was Dojima River Forum. The restaurant is on the second floor, so we took the stairs up. The restaurant is long and narrow, sleek and stylish, and the kitchen is made of glass, so you can catch a glimpse of it. The bar counter is in front of the restaurant, and tables are on the other side. The bar counter is available at night. Lunch menu is Diana ￥6,800 (￥7,340 including tax) (Assorted appetizers, 2 kinds of pasta, fish dish, meat dish and dessert) Ceres ￥3,000 (￥3,240 including tax) (Appetizer, 15 kinds of herb salad, Uturna's specialty Pasta Ravioli with potato and ricotta, shirasu and mint sauce with bottarga (60g) Tagliatelle with tender ragout of pork belly and corn (60g) Recommended! He asked us to use chopsticks to eat the salad, which was cut into small, easy-to-eat pieces. These chopsticks are very thin and easy to grab! The shredded herbs were fresh and crispy without being too peculiar! The chef gave us two kinds of pasta to share! Tender pork belly ragout and corn tagliatelle! I choose the type of pasta over the sauce! I decided on the tagliatelle immediately! The flavor of the tender braised meat combined with the thick noodles was delicious! I wasn't sure about the corn, but it was delicious! Recommended! Carbonara with Kishu Ikushi Kogen Yume Tamago (dream egg)! The egg is orange and very rich! It's rich, but not sticky, and there is no unpleasant aftertaste! I used to think carbonara was just thick. I may have changed a little after having it here! For dessert, my friend had panna cotta and I had pear tart with honey ice cream! The pear tart was crispy and not too sweet! The honey ice cream, just as it is, is so delicious! Also homemade! The eggs are made from Kishu Shoseki Kogen Yume Eggs, the same eggs used in the carbonara, so they have a slightly cloudy color. The color of the eggs is slightly tinted! Finally, tea and a small pastry! Because of the heavy rain that day, we were able to relax from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. I wish the river was cleaner. It's so muddy... The guy at the restaurant said it was clean at night because the dirt was less noticeable. I guess that's true! Maybe I'd like to swoon at the bar counter, next time~!
