From the Whiskey Row series. 1870 Original Batch echoes George Garvin Brown's original batching process. Back then, Brown batched barrels obtained from three distilleries to create a consistent flavor profile. To emulate that process today, we also select barrels from three warehouses, each barrel originating from a different day of production, with a different entry proof and a different age profile. The three expressions of Old Forester are then batched together and minimally filtered to craft Old Forester 1870 Original Batch. 90 proof

From warehouse H (floor 7). Notes of cinnamon, vanilla and butterscotch. 126.9 proof

Finished in white Port wine barrels (about 4 months of aging on this barrel). Our tasting panel thought 105 proof brought out the most character in this whiskey. Notes of vanilla and cinnamon. An exceptional Bourbon!

This Speyside malt has been aged 12 years in a hoghead. Unchill-filtered and bottled at 92 proof. A rich and deep flavour, alive with sweet ginger, pear and rose water. Aromatic fruit and light oak create gentle spice, which balances nicely against an undercurrent of creamy vanilla.

This very rare item from Glenlivet has been aged 14 years in a first fill sherry butt. Un-chillfiltered (more full bodied and full flavored). 125.2 proof

A sampling of Rosebank, Rare Ayrshire, and Imperial

Speyside, Distilled 1994, bottled 2012, 16%. Matured in a Hogshead Cask. Non-chill filtered, no color added. Caperdonich distillery started its life in 1898 under the (relatively uninspiring) name 'Glen Grant #2'. Caperdonich distillery was founded by J. & J. Grant, the people that also built the 'original' Glen Grant distillery in 1840. Glen Grant Number Two remained inactive for six decades, but in the year 1965 it was rebuilt by Glenlivet Distilleries Ltd. who resumed production. The new owners also changed the name to Caperdonich ("Secret Well"). In 1977 Seagram from Canada acquired Caperdonich distillery - before selling it on to Pernod Ricard in 2001. Pernod Ricard closed the distillery one year later in 2002. Fragrant nose, of cut damp grass/ hay, lemon, tropical fruit, malt. Tase is very sweet and creamy. Vanilla custard, canned mixed fruit, sugary syrup. Finishes sweet and spicy. chili, paprika, orange zest.

Notes of hay and summer grass in the nose. Hint of sweetness. In the mouth, well done: round and mellow for his age. Caressing finale. Aged in hogshead. Cask Strength (53.5) bottle 209 of 247.

From the Ladyburn distillery. Ayrshire is the code name used by several NDPs for the Ladyburn distillery that was closed in 1975 by William Grant & Sons. WG&S does continue to put out rare releases of this wonderful old whisky (some bottles priced at $2000), but won't allow anyone but themselves to actually use the name Ladyburn. The nose starts with some funky, woody and fruity notes which develop into grassy malt, toasted nuts and a charred sweetness like burned marshmallows and some earthy undertones. A nice layer of honeyed sweetness moves through the palate, along with some wood and a nutty overtone. In the background are some darker earthier notes. The finish fades out wood and fruit heavy at a medium pace with some trailing notes of nuts and cumin.

Speyside, Distilled 1995, bottled 2012, 53.2%. Matured in Oak Casks. Non-chill filtered, no color added. Imperial was dogged by poor timing. Its chequered history meant that it never had a chance to become established as a single malt brand. Too late for the very earliest wave, by the time the category was becoming popular in the 1970s it was already committed to supplying fillings. When the single malt market came of age in the early 1990s, Imperial was closed. Nose of olive, burnt orange zest, oak, and vanilla notes. A creamy palate with fruit and toasted grain. Finishes creamy and bright with touches of ginger and baking spice 38/70

This 9yr (almost 10) was personally selected by Jerome and Jeff. Soft, buttery with caramel and cinnamon notes. 94 proof

100ml bottles of each of our 3 private barrel bourbons. Take home only.

Sinatra Select pays tribute to Jack's biggest fan: Frank Sinatra. Twice barreled for added complexity, Toasted Barrel takes our award-winning Small Batch Bourbon to new heights. After it's fully matured, we finish this Bourbon in a second, custom toasted new oak barrel, where it's left to develop even more sweet oak flavor.

To sip Barrel Proof is to experience Bourbon in its purest form: uncut, straight from the barrel, and without chill filtering. Each bottle is labeled with its unique proof and batch number; but the nose, taste, and finish are pure Elijah Craig. Batch A123, 125.6 Proof

Fifth Generation Chief Blender, Shinji Fukuyo challenges the conventional hierarchy and roles between malt and grain whisky, by highlighting the quality of the Chita grain whisky not as a base but in equal standing to the Hakushu malt whisky. The select Yamazaki malt adds further depth and complexity to this vivid blend.

Ireland's most exclusive, and rare, whiskey. It is made from a blend of whiskies between 12 and 25 years old, from just a handful of carefully selected bourbon casks. Each bottle is numbered, and there is a distinct difference from one year's blend to the next. Middleton has elements of pot-still Irish Whisky, but is accented toward a sweetish maltiness. It is remarkably smooth and medium bodied with hints of Bourbon. 30/54

This 9yr (almost 10) was personally selected by Josh, Sage Cayla in 2024. Soft, buttery with caramel and cinnamon notes. 94 proof

100ml bottles of each of our 3 private barrel bourbons. Take home only.

Ayrshire is the code name used by several NDPs for the Ladyburn distillery that was closed in 1975 by William Grant Sons. WG does continue to put out rare releases of this wonderful old whisky (some bottles priced at $2000), but won't allow anyone but themselves to actually use the name Ladyburn.

This 9yr (almost 10) was personally selected by Jerome and Jeff. Soft, buttery with caramel and cinnamon notes.

This lot of barrels was in the middle floors of Warehouse G and I which resulted in a very even temperature exposure. Sweet, creamy, oak led, complex flavor, with a caramelized citrus note. Aged 12 years. 97 Proof

Sinatra Select pays tribute to Jack's biggest fan: Frank Sinatra. Made with their unique "Sinatra Barrels" that have deep grooves specially carved into their staves to expose the whiskey to extra layers of toasted oak. This added exposure imparts a rich amber color, bold character, and pleasant smokiness, punctuated by an incredibly smooth vanilla finish. 90 Proof

Tastes of caramel corn sweetness, mingled with butterscotch and licorice. 20/38

Barrel-strength bourbon, bottled uncut and unfiltered. From the center of the rickhouse where the temperature and humidity stars align to create the deepest and most intense flavors.17/31

A wheated bourbon with a full-bodied flavor and a balanced palate. 8/15

Gold color laced with reddish amber hues, nearly copper in tone, with an aroma of subtle vanilla, raisins, maple syrup and toasted nuts. On the palate, you'll detect vanilla, ripe fruit, maple syrup, toast and bitter chocolate. Finishes clean with a lingering sweetness and a hint of Madeira that slowly fades.
