This spirit is aged in bourbon barrels sourced from America, utilizing the production techniques of aged awamori. It has a pale amber color. The aroma is vibrant and fruity. Despite having an alcohol content of 40 degrees, it does not have a sharp sensation and carries a sweet nuance reminiscent of Speyside malt. The rich buttery aroma is enhanced by sweet notes similar to vanilla and citrus. It has a smooth mouthfeel that strongly conveys the whiskey character while also bringing out the qualities of awamori, which are never overshadowed. The sweetness of the rice in the awamori matches well with the sweet aroma derived from the bourbon barrels. Carbonation is provided on the side for your preference.
