At first glance, it may seem like a combination of different cultures, but scientifically, they pair well! The acidity and bubbles of wine complement the flavors of the batter and ingredients in tempura. Additionally, it balances the lingering oil and clears the palate, making the next bite taste even better! A drink to enjoy tempura even more. Please give it a try!
Campos de Estrellas Brut Rosé with fine bubbles and refreshing acidity. A pleasant contrast of 'Crisp → Fizzy' is created in the mouth, enhancing the texture! The toasty umami and soft richness derived from yeast, aged for over 15 months in bottle fermentation, harmonizes with the sweetness of the tempura.
The sweetness and crispiness of freshly fried shrimp are beautifully enhanced by the fine bubbles! The delicate flavors of the sweetfish and conger eel are complemented by the light mineral notes of the cava, leaving a refreshing aftertaste! Even the tempura, which can become heavy with oil, can be enjoyed lightly until the end when paired with the acidity of the cava!
The aroma of vanilla and nuts from the Nuviana Chardonnay barrel aging, along with a buttery softness, pairs well with flavorful ingredients and thick tempura. The balance of oil and wine creates a 'rich pairing'!
The sweetness and umami of the plump fried scallops harmonize with the richness of the barrel-aged wine! The umami and aroma of maitake and shiitake mushrooms naturally blend with a roasted flavor!
