The welcome begins at the entrance gate,

Visited for lunch. The restaurant is beautiful. The food is delicious, the portions are just right, the prices are reasonable, and the staff at the restaurant is warm and welcoming. I would like to go back again. It is also good that reservations can be made anytime via smartphone.

I am happy that I can take off my shoes and relax in the spacious tatami-floored interior. The staff are cheerful, and even when I visit alone, they quickly greet me, which makes me feel at ease. The lunch plate is abundant, starting with soup and including various side dishes, and I felt excited the moment it was served. The homemade soup, filled with chunky ingredients, has a gentle yet rich flavor, and I was able to enjoy it warm until the last sip. The muffin sandwich and salted rice balls are easy to eat, and they pair perfectly with the salad, okara balls, and fried chicken. I really liked the calm atmosphere in the quiet location near Eigenji, where families and people enjoying lunch drinks all seemed to be relaxed.

Matsuken's blowfish is wonderful. Both the grilled albacore and the albacore tempura are excellent and allow you to enjoy the individual flavors. It is gratifying to be able to enjoy a full course of delicious fugu. You can revisit and still enjoy the delicious dishes. I am very glad that I went to Shoken for the taste of fugu and the cosy atmosphere.
