Speisekarte
This is an evening-only mini kaiseki course featuring the famous "deep-fried conger eel tempura" and carefully selected thick conger eel rice (half-size). The menu also includes seasonal appetizers, soup, and sweet dishes. This course is recommended for a dinner after sightseeing or for those who value quality over quantity. This course has a smaller number of items than the Anago Zushi Kaiseki. Ainori rice with grilled and boiled conger eel is available for an additional 1,000 yen (to be declared at the time of reservation).
The “Thick-Cut Premium Ainori Donburi,” featured on TV, is crafted by a restaurant specializing in conger eel dishes with 35 years of history. This is Aoshima’s pride and joy—a dish that lets you enjoy both the aromatic grilled conger eel and the plump, tender simmered conger eel, all made from carefully selected, thick-cut conger eel. Because the preparation process differs from that of our standard “Ainori-jū,” we offer only 10 servings per day, available by reservation only—reservations must be made by the day before. It’s perfect not only for lunch but also for dinner.
Featuring the main dish of 'Anago Rice' made with carefully selected thick anago, this night limited mini kaiseki allows you to enjoy the pride of Aoshima with dishes like the famous 'Whole Anago Tempura'. Please savor the crispy outside and fluffy inside of the whole tempura, along with the rich flavor of the thick anago.
Aoyama's specialty tempura featuring a thick whole anago fried boldly. This dish is renowned for its crispy exterior and fluffy interior texture. It is a popular menu item that was also featured on the TV program 'Tabi Salad'. *This dish is only available as part of the night course menu (not offered for lunch).
This is our proud thick anago rice bowl, featuring live anago grilled to perfection. Enjoy the fluffy texture of the fish and the fragrant grilled flavor. It is often chosen for sightseeing lunches or meals during drives.
From the long-established 'Kikuchi Sake Brewery' in Kurashiki. This junmai sake features a refreshing taste and the umami of rice. It is a locally popular sake in the prefecture.
