This rare special limited sake, 'Sasshu Red Hare', is a genuine shochu polished through a unique manufacturing method and carefully stored and aged in a ceramic jar. After 15 years, the distinctive clarity and refreshing aroma of Red Hare has not faded but has become even more refined, resulting in a harmonious and rich fragrance. You can enjoy a mellow taste where the richness and umami spread in a balanced way, with depth and a long aftertaste. Due to its rarity, we limit it to one cup per person.
Revisiting the ingredients and manufacturing methods, we create a new series with free ideas called 'WAKASHIO+'. As the first installment, 'Kura no Kokorozashi' has been renewed! It uses double the amount of rice koji and is distilled under reduced pressure from a mash fermented at low temperatures with Kumamoto yeast. Due to the damage from Typhoon No. 22 on October 9, 2023, there has been a continued water outage, and the cooling filtration of the raw sake of Bakigawa Nasakeshima distilled in September could not be performed. Therefore, it has been bottled without cooling filtration. Normally, this product would not be released to the market, and the regular 'Bakigawa Nasakeshima' cannot be shipped, so this special limited edition sake has been created. We kindly ask for your support as you enjoy this product. The regular 'Bakigawa Nasakeshima' will be shipped from January to February next year.
