A popular kappo restaurant in Kitashinchi! I usually eat kappo in Kyoto, but this time I decided to attack it in Osaka. First, I ordered a bottle of Asahi beer. I checked to see if there was a drink menu, but they said there was no menu. The soup was very tasty with an elegant broth. The sashimi was Akashi sea bream, tuna, and swordtip squid, and it was very fresh. The rice topped with matsutake mushrooms and chestnuts was so delicious that I had to have another bowl. The owner told us that the chestnuts are made using a special method, which makes them sweeter by letting them rest. The bill was 6830 yen. I was very grateful to the owner and his apprentice for seeing me off at the end of the meal. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
