Matsunosuke's baked goods are selected from the menu of a dessert class held at home by Akiko Hirano, using the recipe of Sharl Gene, the winner of the Vermont Apple Pie Contest, after returning from New England. Additionally, there are selections from what was learned at the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) in Hyde Park, New York, which is attended every year. The ingredients used are high-quality and additive-free. All production is handmade, carefully crafted with a focus on the touch of the hands. Every day, we wish for the finished cakes to always shine and smile as they go into the oven. The apple pie from Matsunose is reputed to be truly delicious. It is characterized by wrapping fresh apples directly in the pie crust and baking them.
