Church Cafe ⛪️ Cafe FREUNDLIEB Main Branch (Kobe) A German bakery established in 1924. Located in an alley up the hill from Sannomiya Station. The building is so magnificent that I was not sure whether I should enter or not. The first floor is a store, The second floor is a café. Built in 1929 Built in 1929, Kobe Union Church was purchased and reconstructed, The cafe is a rare opportunity to have tea time in a church. You can enjoy a wonderfully elegant tea time that will make you feel as if you are in an English chapel. A wide range of breads, sandwiches, cakes, etc. are available. The cakes in particular seem to be very popular. When I went there, all the cakes were already sold out. So I ordered the cake set. (I want to revisit again ❗️) When you go on a trip to Kobe, this is a place where you can have a different and special time. You will have a special time that is different from the usual!
