Kame Maboroshi is a mellow sweet potato shochu that has been carefully aged in a kiln with minimal temperature differences. By storing it in a fired clay pot and allowing it to breathe through the pot, the aging process is enhanced, resulting in an elegant and refined taste.
Imo shochu made using traditional wooden pot stills. The sweet potatoes used as raw materials are of a delicate variety called 'Golden Senkun', resulting in a refreshing taste without any strong flavors. The gentle aroma and sweetness of sweet potatoes spread throughout the mouth.
It has a soft mouthfeel, gentle sweetness, and a fragrant aroma reminiscent of freshly roasted sweet chestnuts. It is very easy to drink with no distinctive odor of sweet potato shochu, and a sweet aroma.
