Akagi beef is a crossbreed of Japanese black cattle (Kuroge Wagyu), and is characterized by its healthy lean meat and Wagyu-derived flavor. The meat is tender and fine-textured with a high content of amino acids, the source of its flavor. The more you chew, the more the beef's original aroma and flavor spreads in your mouth, with a clean aftertaste and sweet, elegant fat that is unique to Akagi beef.
