A popular izakaya known for its delicious chicken sashimi. In addition to chicken, the handmade a la carte dishes are hearty and reasonably priced. The restaurant is highly satisfactory in terms of taste and cost performance.

For dinner on a night of sightseeing in Kagoshima, We made a reservation for a weekday opening time and visited the restaurant. I was concerned about the peculiar smell of incense in the restaurant, which I had seen in other reviews, but it did not bother me during the meal after the restaurant was fully booked. It was acceptable. The clientele was mostly businessmen-male pairs and groups who seemed to be on business trips. The menu we ordered was a choice of grilled yam with salt, in addition to the famous momoyaki & chicken sashimi. All of them were fully flavored with the aroma of charcoal. The chicken sashimi goes well with sweet soy sauce. The amount of chicken sashimi is just right for snacks. The yam was a new experience with a hojicha-like aroma and a good salty taste that you won't find at other izakayas. I liked it. The grilled momoyaki was chewy and hearty, and even two people would find it a bit much, so be careful. We paid the bill as we were full after only 3 dishes. I think it is a good cosmetic restaurant. I am glad I visited.

Cheers! If you come to Kagoshima, you must have Kurobuta! But tonight is chicken! A set of grilled momo (thigh) and chicken sashimi! A special half-and-half set for one customer for 650 yen! Each seat at the counter is small 😨. Next to me is a single female customer. 'Are you traveling?' Five years ago I would have asked 🙍. Now you ask! 'Don't let that stinky old man talk to me! Scary, scary 😨. I hope you can smell my neck... Oh man, I want to burp! No good, right? No, right? ...Chicken is so good!

As the reviews said, the chicken sashimi and charcoal-grilled red chicken are incredibly delicious. Since the half-and-half option was only available at the counter, I reluctantly ordered one plate of each. They were delicious, but the portions were large, so I couldn't order anything else. I wish they had allowed the half-and-half option for orders over a certain amount. The sashimi platter and the tempura of the sweetfish were also delicious. I'm glad I stopped by during my trip✈️. Thank you for the meal😋.

It was a great cosmetic experience, as many of the reviews indicate. The half-and-half set (chicken sashimi and char-grilled chicken), which is limited to one person, is a very generous portion for one person. Both were fresh and chewy and provided a good workout for my jaw. It was a good decision to make a reservation.

As always, the cheap and delicious chicken tataki and charcoal-grilled dishes, and the satsuma-age are also freshly fried and tasty! It's no surprise that it's fully booked right after 5:30 PM.

I feel like the quantity has decreased compared to before, but in this day and age of constant price increases, they are providing it at a relatively low cost, and above all, everything I eat is delicious, so I will definitely go again when I come to Kagoshima!

It was fully booked even though it was a weekday. The charcoal-grilled chicken was especially delicious and was the best. It paired perfectly with beer and other alcoholic drinks.

It was as good as advertised. I am not in the habit of eating chicken sashimi, so I was actually worried that it would upset my stomach. I was worried that I would get an upset stomach, but the deliciousness of the chicken sashimi made me finish the whole dish. Of course, my stomach was fine. Every dish was delicious, the portions were generous, and the bill was very reasonable. It was so good that I thought I might have made a mistake. I can't wait to eat again!

I have always disliked the chemical smell and salty taste of charbroiled chicken, but Daian's chicken had not a chemical smell, but a savory aroma and just the right amount of saltiness. It was so delicious with mayonnaise that it made me wonder what charcoal-grilled food I had ever had before. Thank you very much!
