A French restaurant in a house by reservation only. Local ingredients are served in the chef's handmade dishes. The dishes, which are pleasing to both the eye and the palate, are generous in volume and are sure to satisfy.
I have been there several times, but it quickly becomes full right after opening, and there is a line outside. All the dishes are delicious, but it feels like they are short-staffed.

It had been six months since our last visit to Sancerite and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The wine we brought was Chateau Trotanoy 2007, which was similarly impressive to Petrus. From the amuse to the desserts, each dish was delicious and impressive. The foie gras terrine and the octopus in couleur bouillon were especially astonishingly delicious. It was a very satisfying dinner with a wonderful job done right to the end.
A restaurant offering a new experience in grilled chicken
Yoshiyoshi is a cozy grilled chicken restaurant named after the owner's pet cat. The establishment has been renovated, featuring a charming café-like interior. The chicken grilled with a special miso sauce is rich in flavor and can be enjoyed on its own for a deep taste.
I set the spiciness to level 2 and it was spicier than I expected. The waiter's pace was very relaxed, which I felt was typical of India. The cheese naan was delicious and full of cheese.
The place was packed with customers from all over the prefecture and beyond.
The miso sauce was not as thick as it looked and was very tasty. The young chicken (with sauce) was very tender, and the oyadori (with salt and pepper) was chewy and the more you chewed, the more flavorful it became.
It is recommended to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, as the place is full of smoke.
The locals were grilling the chicken on a griddle full of meat.
Tonkatsu Yojusanban Matsusaka is the second location following the Ise store, offering exquisite tonkatsu made with Ishi SP pork. The special pork is characterized by its tenderness and juiciness, creating an unforgettable flavor experience. The owner, former professional baseball player Tomoaki Egawa, brings a passion to the tonkatsu that is truly impressive. The restaurant is clean and family-friendly, making it a highly recommended spot to visit.
At K-Chicken, you can savor the delicious yangnyeom chicken and honey chicken, along with a variety of Korean dishes. The interior is comfortable, and you can relax with warm tea. The fluffy shaved ice has a snow-like melt-in-your-mouth texture and doesn't become watery, which is great. The matcha syrup and espuma have a sharp bitterness, making it enjoyable to eat until the end. It's also helpful that you can have the espuma or the ice inside removed to suit your preferences. The strawberry shaved ice features a layer of white espuma, strawberry sauce, condensed milk, and wasanbon ice, providing a satisfaction similar to that of a shortcake. The mango mille-feuille combines crispy pastry with thinly sliced mango and rich custard, offering the best texture and aroma.
Billion Coffee Matsusaka boasts a cozy space where you can forget the time and relax. Their freshly brewed coffee and original smoothies are highly praised, and unique drink options like iced yuzu tea are also popular.
There are many restaurants in Matsuzaka City related to Matsusaka beef, but Unagi no Nanke is just as good. Eels from Miyazaki, Kyushu, are shipped directly from the region of origin, and the rice used is the finest Goito rice. The skin is crisply grilled and excess oil is removed to create a juicy flavor. We also offer good service, with kotatsu seats overlooking the garden and seats friendly to the elderly with aching knees. We hope you will continue to bring us delicious eel.
Kinokuniya is a highly popular soba shop in Matsusaka. It features firm, 100% buckwheat soba and a perfectly balanced broth infused with the umami of bonito. The tempura has a crispy batter that enhances the flavors of the shrimp and vegetables. It's a cozy establishment with a homey atmosphere.
