This is a hidden sushi restaurant located in the residential area of Nishi-Watada. I had the completely reservation-based 'Omakase Dinner Course (8,800 yen)', and to put it simply, it was wonderful. The course consists of about 18 dishes, and the volume and quality provide a level of satisfaction that is hard to believe for this price. What was particularly impressive was the carefully crafted 'red rice'. The balance of acidity and umami was excellent, and it paired perfectly with the toppings. Instead of using wasabi with the red tuna, they used 'karashi' (Japanese mustard), and after the miso soup, a splendid scallop was served, followed by authentic handmade soba by the chef to conclude the meal, making for a course that continued to surprise and excite until the end. The chef and the owner were very young, and I appreciated their earnestness in serving and cooking. There is a freshness about them, and I feel that this restaurant will continue to improve. I recommend it for those who want to enjoy delicious sushi slowly in Nagano City, especially for a slightly special occasion. I definitely want to visit again.
Located in a residential area, this restaurant is like a nice hideaway. It is a French restaurant with reasonable prices and a casual but calm and quiet atmosphere. The restaurant is open at all hours, serving galette sets in the morning and course meals at dinner.
I made a reservation and went. It was a place where you take off your shoes to enter. The low chair was very comfortable to sit in. I had a small bowl set, and my friend from Kanagawa who went with me also said it was delicious. My husband said it would be perfect if he could have a second serving of rice. The rooibos tea and dessert were also delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I will go again.

Guests can enjoy a rich cabbage salad bar, a drink bar, and self-serve Niigata Koshihikari rice, making it a casual spot for families and solo diners alike. I used Baby Face for the first time on a Saturday, and it was more relaxed than on weekdays, allowing me to enjoy food and drinks while chatting with friends. On weekdays, there is a lunch menu, which is also appealing, but I have had experiences where, despite ordering from the drink bar, I was asked to leave after about an hour when it was crowded. This gives me a strong sense that I can't relax on weekdays. However, this time on Saturday was my first visit, and I was able to spend time leisurely, which was nice.
My daughter saw it on Twitter and wanted to go! My daughter said on Twitter that she wanted to go, so we went.
I skipped breakfast and went to the place well prepared, thinking not to get my hopes up too high,
The restaurant is cute from the outside 😍and even after you enter it, it's cute 😍.
Since there were 5 of us, we were shown to a small private room, which was also cute😍.
We ordered pizzas and were surprised at the size of the pizzas and impressed with the taste 😍.
The seafood pizza has a really nice seafood aroma.
Margherita has a delicious tomato sauce.
The dough is delicious.
Since it was lunch, salad and drink bar were included.
The dressing was also delicious.
Five of us ordered three pizzas, one Nekomachi burger, and one salad bar.
We had a full meal and it was cosy.
The basement immersed in the world of Howl's Moving Castle and Indiana Jones was also very nice. If I have the chance to go back, I would like to eat in the basement for afternoon tea or dinner.
Authentic Pizza with Chewy Dough Baked in a Stone Oven
In a warm space renovated from a 130-year-old traditional house, you can enjoy stone oven pizza crafted by the chef. The crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, generously topped with plenty of vegetables, cheese, shrimp, and chicken, making it so hearty that you'll want to take some home. The garlic pizza served before the meal and the seasonal desserts are also popular, making this a highly satisfying establishment.
I particularly liked the tender misuji and the rich kamenoko. The beef tongue with plenty of green onions has a wonderful aroma and goes well with white rice. The horumon, including mino, hachinosu, and shimachou, is crunchy and full of flavor. The harami is fragrant, and the premium liver is smooth and satisfying. There are private rooms and karaoke, allowing you to enjoy time with friends at a leisurely pace. The staff is attentive, and the atmosphere is very comfortable.
The atmosphere of the restaurant and the food were both excellent. The staff were also unobtrusive and pleasant. I would like to visit again. However, I was a bit concerned when I arrived and saw someone wiping the door at the entrance, and when I went to the restroom, it was being cleaned.
