What is Osaka?: Osaka is a dynamic gateway in Japan where everyday flavors and artisanal techniques coexist. The city is often associated with the playful spirit of kuidaore, and that convivial mindset shapes a dining scene that encourages grazing through neighborhoods, from sizzling takoyaki stands and hearty okonomiyaki counters to crisp kushikatsu, dashi-forward udon, and refined kaiseki-inspired plates. Market arcades and waterfront districts invite seafood-focused menus, while cozy izakaya alleys, noodle shops, and sweets artisans reflect a love of approachable, seasonal tastes. Pressed sushi traditions and a fondness for rich yet balanced broths hint at Kansai’s palate. As a historic merchant center tied to trade and entertainment, Osaka nurtured quick, flavorful cooking and a culture of lively hospitality that continues to influence its tables today. Visitors may find that both classic comfort dishes and globally inspired kitchens share the same emphasis on warmth, rhythm, and the joy of eating together.
What is Bakery?: A bakery draws people in with the inviting aroma of flour and butter and the simple pleasure of warm, freshly baked goods. In many displays, you might find crusty baguettes, country loaves, soft sandwich bread, and an array of viennoiseries such as croissants, danishes, and brioche. Techniques often include long fermentation, natural starters that build character, lamination for delicate layers, and steam baking that encourages a crisp crust with a tender crumb. Some bakeries prepare tarts, quiches, or sandwiches, while others focus on sourdough and grain-forward styles. Seasonal fruit fillings, custard, nuts, and chocolate appear in pastries that pair naturally with coffee or tea. Whether enjoyed at a small counter or taken to go, the experience invites a measured appreciation of aroma, texture, and temperature—from the crackle of a scored loaf to the buttery flake of a croissant. Many guests turn to bakeries for breakfast, light lunches, or afternoon treats.

The #1 bakery in the country!

First visit in a year!
This bakery is ranked No.1 in Osaka Bread Ranking and No.1 in Japan Bread Ranking (as of 2011,10,14).
It's great to know that the store ranked No. 1 in Japan is also in Osaka!
By the way, the second place is Tamaki Tei, and the third place is Signifiant Signifie at Nihombashi Takashimaya.
I haven't been able to visit only the second place... I have to go there somehow!
I bought 3 kinds this time!
I always go to buy the bread they have that day without making a reservation, so I'm a little excited to see what they have!
Creme au beurre 160 yen
The dough is moist, but also chewy!
The cream is butter cream!
I love buttercream.
It is smooth and goes well with the dough!
Brioche a la creme 230 yen
The brioche dough is also moist and full of butter!
The cream is added in a luxurious way and it is very tasty!
I wish I could add more, but the dough is so delicious that I can forgive it!
It's expensive at 230 yen, but I'll buy it!
Pain de mi 1/2 190 yen
This is made without eggs!
The dough is moist and tasty with a good crunch when toasted.
I think I prefer them baked rather than raw!
If you go here, you should make a reservation if you want to try this one! If you go here, it is better to make a reservation if you want to try it!

I don't make reservations because I'm looking forward to seeing what they have!

Maybe in another year lol

I just wanted to go here...
I got my wish and went there!
I rode my bike in the rain!
Friday around midnight...
I was the only one in the store, but the other people were buying bags full of stuff!
Thanks to that, we didn't have much to choose from...
But the waiter followed me around and explained about the bread, which made me feel at home.
Tarte flambée
When I went here, it was freshly made and smelled great even though it was in the bag!
The tarte flambée was freshly made when I was there, and smelled so good in the bag!
The savory smell of the cheese was indescribable!
Croissant
This one was really crispy and elegant!
The layers were firm and delicious!
Pain au Noir
It has so many walnuts in it!
The bread was so dense that it was very filling for a single piece!
Puree dalico
The sweet bean paste is smooth and well balanced with the bread!
The poppy seeds also have a nice crunchy texture.
Next time I want to buy a pan de mie!
That was a high level bread!
It was a bread that conveyed half the attention to detail!

I heard that the all-you-can-eat bread course is delicious, so I visited with a friend. The bread we had was actually very tasty, and there were many varieties lined up in the corner, made smaller or cut so that we wouldn't get full too quickly and could try a variety. Additionally, freshly baked items were brought directly to our table and recommended, allowing us to enjoy them hot and fresh. After lunch, the number of customers increased rapidly, almost filling the place, so I recommend making a reservation.

Bakery of your dreams
2012,05
This time I got it as a gift from a friend.
Thank you very much.
It's a bread pudding from a bakery.
A pudding with various types of bread is a great way to enjoy the texture of the bread!
Delicious!
It's been a while since I've been to this restaurant, so I hope to go again soon!
2011,03
Finally, finally, I went there!
Mr. Pandus ♪
Natalie and koba22 reviewed it, and I've been wanting to go!
The bread here has many creative breads with vegetables,
You won't find them in any other bakery!
First of all, when you enter the store, you will be amazed at the variety of breads!
It's so hard to decide which one to buy (+o+)
It was 12:30pm when I went there, so there were many office workers nearby!
I bought 5 kinds this time.
They know I'm buying them because I'm so excited.
Potato panini
The potatoes are not overcooked, so they are crispy!
It's a panini, but the dough is so thin that it's more like eating potatoes.
I think it's difficult to get this crunchy texture.
Curry Bread
It's not curry bread, but rather egg salad with curry flavor inside.
So... I can't give it a good evaluation as a curry bun...
Curry buns should have curry in them...right?
Cheese Tart
This was so delicious!
It's a bakery cheesecake, but the cheese is rich and the tart part is a pie!
The texture of the crispy pie and the rich cheese are in harmony!
It will refresh your mouth at once!
Almond bread←I forgot the name...
The top of the bread is full of chopped roasted almonds!
I didn't take a picture of the cross section, but the almond dough makes it so delicious!
Octopus bread
Buy it for the visual! Aren't they pretty?
There were too many breads to buy, so I bought a lot (^. ^;)
I think this is a bakery that women like!
I envy those who can go there once a week(T▽T)
I wish I could go back and buy all kinds of things!
I will revisit soon!
Very nice bakery with a great atmosphere.
On this day, we went to the first one Apple pronounced
Then I walked to this one!
It was very hot even though it was May...
It was hot, and it was lunch time.......the sun was right above us and it felt like a long 15 minute walk.......
When we arrived at the restaurant, it looked like it had been there for a long time!
This area is a Hiranogo Machinami Recommended Building, and these old buildings have been cleaned up as they are!
I was a little nervous because it looked like I was opening the front door of a restaurant!
Rattling...only bread in the store...a waiter appeared from the back!
Thank goodness... I thought there was no one there.
Matcha white chocolate 95 yen
It's very small~!
The aroma and bitterness of matcha green tea spread in your mouth at the same time!
The gentle sweetness of the white chocolate wraps around it and makes you happy!
Although it is small, it has a strong presence.
Queeniaman 210 yen
It is softer than the one we usually buy.
The caramelization is on top, but I personally wanted a little more.
It's fluffy, but the center is squeezed and baked.
It's a little bit hard, but that's because the Queeniaman is hard to begin with.
I don't mind it!
croissant
Not as crispy on the outside, but it's still flaky!
The inside is moist and there is a good balance between the outside and the inside.
The butter flavor is not that strong.
I think it's because the outside is fragrant, so I think it's defeated by the outside.
The streets around here are really charming.
It's also nice to walk around while eating freshly baked bread!
I found a bakery that I want to visit again!
It was far away...
We visited around 6pm on a weekday!
There were about 10 people in line at the cash register.
I think the eat-in restaurant was also almost full!
I had a meeting in Umeda, so I arrived early and walked from Midosuji Subway Line Umeda Station to the underground station.
I went through the underground from Umeda station on Midosuji subway line, but it was a long way...
I was tired from the heat and the rush home.
First of all, I was surprised when I entered the store and saw people standing in line at the cash register!
I guess the time I went there was during the busy time of the day?
I bought 3 kinds! I bought the banane first and the other two while waiting in line!
I couldn't see them because I was in line in front of the bread...
It's a very small store....
The round bread is made of thin bread dough with cream in the middle.
This cream was really delicious! It was thin and easy to eat!
The croissant noir was softer and slightly sweeter than a regular croissant!
Crispy is good, but moist is good too!
Banane! Just the name alone sounds delicious!
This bread looks like a baked good!
Nice accents of chocolate chips and raisins in places!
I can't get enough of the fluffy banana aroma!
I like this place quite a bit!
I want to come back!
Popular little bakery
2013,12
We have not been here for a long time.
Popular as ever!
The store is always full of people.
I bought some of the newest breads since I had already tried most of the breads here!
Curry bread made in collaboration with some curry shop!
Curry buns are not so spicy.
But this one was spicy, maybe because I was careless.
Curry was the main ingredient in this bread!
Another bread with potatoes and thickly sliced bacon!
The small potatoes and diced bacon were just as they should be!
This is so delicious!
I thought they were small and not enough.
But it wasn't like that at all!
The saltiness of the bacon and potatoes go well together!
It was so good that I even bought some more recently!
Ohhhh, the restaurant was not so good,
I felt that I like the bread here....
2012,11
I have been coming here many times!
This time I bought the new milk bread and the sesame cubes, which were popular breads that were re-released!
The milk bread...it's a new item, but it doesn't look like a new item.
I'm sorry to say it, but you can find it anywhere!
It's not that it's not tasty, but it's okay.
Re-released sesame cubes
Square bread! I see them everywhere these days.
This sesame cube has a sweet potato inside!
The sweet potato is sweet and tasty, but the sticky feeling peculiar to Anno sweet potato may not be good (~_~~;)
I guess it's a matter of taste.
They also have a few side dishes, and their anchovy fries are great!
Buy a bucket and get some anchovies, it's great!
Next year, I want to go here for Italian food!
Oh, yes! The other day, Hama-chan and Higashinori from "Gobugobu" came by on a whim!
I wonder which bread they ate?
I'm looking forward to the on-air show.

This time, there were Damand raisins recommended by Gon-chan!
The texture of the raisins is delicious, and the almond cream is delicious and hollowy... ♪

I prefer the soft bread I had before.
I still like this place... I will revisit again in the future.

Revisit! I like this place a lot!
The third time I noticed that they don't allow photography inside the restaurant!
I guess it can't be helped if it's this small...
This time I went at lunch time, but they didn't have many products...
I wonder if there are more products here in the evening.
This time I bought 3 kinds!
Caponata
Sticky dough with minced meat!
The cheese is also included, so it has a strong flavor, but it is also delicious and savory!
An Cube
There are a lot of square breads these days, aren't there?
Moist dough with an filling of red bean paste.
It's delicious, but I eat this kind of bread at Tomy's Sannomiya.
I'm not that impressed.
Cream melon bread
This was a new item, so I bought it!
It's a moist melon bread and delicious!
I don't often buy melon bread because there are so many hits and misses.
But this one was good!
The cream inside is sweet, but there is a little bit of raspberry in it.
It has a bit of sourness to it sometimes!
The recommended Daman's Raisin is rejected every time I go, so I think I'll make a reservation next time...
I recommend the cream buns here!

I bought it because it was sold by the piece.
I'm very happy that they sell it in small quantities♪
There were two types: square and mountain, but I chose the square one.

Salted focaccia 189 yen
This is our most popular item!

Salmon and spinach quiche: 284 yen

It's a small and cute shop♪
There were 4 or 5 people in the store, so it was hard to buy while looking around!
In the meantime, customers keep coming in and out!
I already bought it while standing in line!
This time, I bought three pieces: cream buns, mochi chiripan, and honey brioche!
Cream bun
You can't handle this with tongs...
You have to scoop it out with a pizza scoop or it will fall apart!
It's a little hard to get it off, so I had to take it off... lol.
The dough is moist and thin, so it feels chunky.
The cream is also hardened, but that's what makes it so delicious.
It's similar to Takeuchi, but I think I like this one better...
Soft and chewy bread
This bread is the second best bread in this store!
It is really a simple bread with only sugar icing on the top!
It's not too soft, but you can taste the flavor as you chew it!
This is a popular item...I never got tired of eating it despite its simplicity!
Honey Brioche
The honey is subtle, soft and simple, but it has a presence.
The dough is moist and has more butter! This bread... my personal favorite!
There are always a lot of customers here!
There are so many high quality breads,
Next time, I would like to go for the most popular salted focaccia!

On this day, I took a course for renewal of my driver's license at the police station from 9:00 a.m.!
It was an hour long lecture and video......................................well, I was sleepy (u_u).
After 10:00, I had some time to kill, so I decided to go to a bakery.
I had originally planned to go to Boulangerie Labo Ficelle and here, but...
But to my surprise, I found out that Ficelle had moved to a new location.
I went there via NAVITAIME, so the old address was still there...
I checked the food log and found out that they moved! I was wondering if I should go there. I was thinking of going there...
It was hot again that day, so we headed this way!
It was a little after 11:00 when I got there, and the restaurant had just opened!
But when I walked into the store, I was surprised (;phew!)!
The restaurant is full with 2 or 3 people in it!
There is a cash register at the counter, and breads are lined up next to the cash register.
There are not many varieties and the quantity is small.
The bakers must have a hard time because they are baking in a small space...
This is not the type of food you take on a tray, but this! This one! and tell them what you want.
I bought three kinds of food... I don't know the names of all of them (~_~~;).
Bread with two kinds of wiener
The dough of the bread is a little chewy
The wiener on this one is insanely juicy and delicious!
Especially the red one, the skin is crispy and delicious!
The white one is softer and the meat is amazing!
Bread with a big wiener
Well~ at this point, why did I buy two similar ones! you may ask!
I think so too...why?
This one is shaped like an imoashi...
But this wiener is the same as the first one I had...(~_~~;)
It's as tasty as ever!
Cream cheese and fig bread
The cream cheese is rich and the figs are also very juicy.
The crunchy texture is irresistible!
The bread is small in size, but it's very satisfying because it's so soft and chewy!
I really made a bad choice this time.
But the sausage is so tasty, so I guess it was a good choice.
Next time, I'll make sure not to make the wrong choice!
I thought it was Mr. Barrigo, but it's Mr. Parigo, lol.
I went to Mr. Parigo... ♪
I've been wanting to go there ever since Mr. McKee reviewed it.
I went there by motorcycle with a buehn!
We got there around 5:30pm.
I was lucky that they still had a variety of breads at that time of the day!
Well, they didn't have the all-important cream buns, though. ・・・・・・
I bought
Sandwiched bread
Green curry bread
Lasagna bread
Four kinds of milk bread
The bread sandwiches are very tasty!
It's a fried egg, bacon, and a sandwich, and it's voluptuous and delicious!
Green curry bread, served on a cut up bucket!
This green curry is a little tangy, but the potatoes gently control the spiciness!
The lasagna bread is disappointing because there are not many ingredients inside!
The milk bread was also average.
I went there in the evening, so there were only about half of the varieties.
But there were still many, so I guess there must be more in the morning.
No wonder there are so many products!
What surprised me was that even the people baking the bread would say, "Welcome!
It was a bit bizarre, but it was a pleasant sight.
I didn't get to try the cream buns this time, so I'm going to try again next time!
