What is Osaka?: Osaka is a dynamic gateway in Japan where everyday flavors and artisanal techniques coexist. The city is often associated with the playful spirit of kuidaore, and that convivial mindset shapes a dining scene that encourages grazing through neighborhoods, from sizzling takoyaki stands and hearty okonomiyaki counters to crisp kushikatsu, dashi-forward udon, and refined kaiseki-inspired plates. Market arcades and waterfront districts invite seafood-focused menus, while cozy izakaya alleys, noodle shops, and sweets artisans reflect a love of approachable, seasonal tastes. Pressed sushi traditions and a fondness for rich yet balanced broths hint at Kansai’s palate. As a historic merchant center tied to trade and entertainment, Osaka nurtured quick, flavorful cooking and a culture of lively hospitality that continues to influence its tables today. Visitors may find that both classic comfort dishes and globally inspired kitchens share the same emphasis on warmth, rhythm, and the joy of eating together.
What is Crepe?: Crepe restaurants showcase the appeal of a paper-thin batter spread on a hot griddle, then folded or rolled around fillings that range from playful to refined. Classic sweet pairings often include fresh fruit, whipped cream, chocolate, and custard, while savory options might feature ham, cheese, egg, and seasonal vegetables. Some menus offer buckwheat-based galettes for a more rustic bite, and others explore contemporary combinations and sauces. The experience may be grab-and-go, with a cone that’s easy to enjoy while strolling, or a plated service that invites knife-and-fork tasting and relaxed conversation over coffee or tea. Texture is part of the charm, from lacy, crisp edges to a tender center that holds its shape. Whether sought as a quick snack, a brunch centerpiece, or a shareable dessert, crepes present a flexible canvas that adapts to mood, time of day, and appetite.

I made a reservation because I had another appointment. The staff had a good atmosphere, the shop was clean, and above all, the shop unified in tricolor was really cute! The savory crepes here are filling enough with just one, so I thought it would be better to come with two or more people and share both savory and dessert crepes!

A very popular crepe store in Fukushima-ku, Osaka!

They seem to be pushing galette in winter, so I ordered a galette and dessert crepe set at eat-in~!
This is a classic galette called a complette!
A delicious royal one with ham, cheese and egg!
The galette dough is also delicious. The balance was perfect.
The dessert crepe is simply delicious too!
I will go back~!

First of all, the exterior and interior were Western-style and small, which I liked.
For food, we ordered a set of appetizers, petit soup, a galette of our choice, a crepe of our choice, and a drink.
Overall, it was a delicious meal that I would like to eat regularly.
The appetizer of avocado and tandoori chicken quiche and the pumpkin soup were delicious and comforting.
The galette is called Dijon, and the filling is young chicken, tomatoes, shimeji mushrooms, and a hot spring egg on top, seasoned with mustard.
It was my first time eating galette, and the crispy dough combined with the mustard flavor and cheese was delicious! However, I was pretty full at this point lol.
I was already full and wondered what to do, but when I tried it, I found myself saying "Yum! I was already full and wondering what to do, but when I tried it, I exclaimed inwardly like Mr. Purgatory, "Yum! Thanks to the deliciousness of the food, I managed to enjoy it to the end.
I ordered the berry millefeuille, which consisted of two crispy pies, ice cream, cream on top, and berry sauce on top.
Everything was very compatible: the crispy texture of the pie, the sweetness of the cream, the just-right acidity of the berries that was not too sour, and a good moistness of the dough. No wonder everyone gave it such high marks.
There were no negative points in particular, so I gave it 5 stars.
Crepes rather than meals!

I went out to dinner with my junior-chan B for the first time in a while!
On the way back from visiting Genya in Fukushima, I'm sure she'll ask me to go for ramen anyway~!
There are many good ramen restaurants in Fukushima, and I thought it would be easy to find a second one.
What are we going to do after this? I asked her what she wanted to do afterwards, and contrary to my expectations, she said, "I want a crepe!
Eh ???? Crepe? And the time is 9:30 p.m.
I hurriedly checked the food log to see if there was a crepe at this hour, and yes, there was! There it is! There it was!
Chandelier here in Umeda!
We don't have much time before last order, so we're going there by cab!
We just made it just in time and the restaurant was empty, so of course we thought we would eat at the restaurant.
I thought I would eat at the restaurant, but I was told that they have a good selection of crepes for eating and walking around.
It's not something you eat elegantly with a knife and fork, he said!
Of course, you can't eat take-out inside the restaurant, so we had to eat it on the bench under this apartment building!
As soon as we started eating, a security guard came and told us to leave immediately after eating.
Take-out is available only at
Butter and sugar 320 yen
Lemon cheese cream 430 yen
Blueberry jam 380 yen
Chocolate Banana 430 yen
Echille butter and sugar 400 yen
Marron custard cream 450 yen
Hazelnut chocolate cream 420 yen
Matcha Daifuku 450 yen
Galette also available
Junpai chose the chocolate banana and I chose the marron custard cream.
Crispy baked crepe dough, I watched it being baked.
It is baked at quite a high temperature!
It's true, normal crepes are yellowish, but this one is brownish.
But they don't look burnt at all!
As you eat it, the dough becomes stickier and stickier.
The custard cream is not too sweet, but the marron is a little sweet.
The chestnut pieces have a nice texture and are delicious!
It was hot in the middle of a tropical night, eating a hot crepe. ・・・・
But the take-out is reasonably priced, so I guess it was okay.
I will review Genka's story later!

On this day, the three of us went to see Umizaru!
I said it was the last last last year, but it became a movie again this year.
Hideaki Ito is so cool!
And then, after watching the movie, I thought about having dinner, but there was a long line at Butter Chayamachi!
It's Friday, right?
I have a girl in the third grade, so we decided to go here!
It took a long time to open because there were only 3 of us.
If you come here, you must have crepes!
But we were also hungry and wanted to eat!
We decided on the Brittany Menu for 1,890 yen, a menu that caters to such selfishness!
The Bretagne Menu is
Today's soup
Today's Galette or Today's Main Plate
Crepe of your choice
Drink of the day
The menu is composed of the following items. Today's Today" is written on the blackboard.
Chilled pumpkin potage
I like cold soup better than hot one because of the sweetness and smoothness of pumpkin.
Hamburger steak and mushrooms in mustard cream
The hamburger steak was tender, and the mustard cream stew was not spicy enough for me.
The bread was also half-baked.
Tea Soda
I chose tea soda as my drink.
After all, my favorite tea also has an appeal to carbonation (-_-;)
Sucre Royale
I had decided to have Choucré (Essire Butter and Sugar).
But the fruit and ice cream got the better of me and I decided on the choucré Royale!
It's already so good!
Sammy Poo's crepes were thick and chewy and delicious, but
But the crepes here are also thick and chewy, but also crunchy and delicious!
I wonder if it was a good idea to use sugar butter?
It's so good all together again!
The crepes are very much appreciated!
I think it's better to come here after dinner!
I'm glad the third grade girls were happy with the pasta and crepes!
I forgot the date, but they are having a Thanksgiving party next month!
Please check it out!
Meh.
