The soba is very delicious, and this is a restaurant I would recommend first. In particular, the soba salad with cold noodles topped with vegetables, duck, a runny egg, and almonds is fun and tastes excellent. The texture changes interestingly between the freshly boiled noodles and those that have been left to sit for a while. The freshly made tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) is fluffy and hot, and the giant kakiage (tempura) is impressive in appearance. The zaru soba (cold soba served on a bamboo tray) with black sesame has a firm texture and goes down smoothly. The staff are friendly, and there are plenty of seats, making it easy to use for groups.
