Marusui is the original Uwajima sea bream sushi restaurant. The fresh sea bream sashimi from the Uwakai Sea and the tai-meshi with secret sauce are exquisite. A la carte dishes are also available, and dishes using shirasu (dried young sardines) are also popular. Marumizu is a restaurant where you can enjoy a relaxing meal while sightseeing, on business, or even by yourself.

This was my first visit to the original Uwajima Tai-meshi restaurant in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture. The menu was full of seafood dishes, including a choice of natural or farm-raised sea bream, as well as a soboro bowl of rice topped with a variety of vegetables. This time, we chose the natural sea bream rice with egg and broth. It came with an egg, a broth, and a beautiful looking sea bream. It was great to eat it with the egg.
