This is a calm Japanese restaurant located on the second floor of a building. There are several private rooms where you can relax. The sashimi platter is exceptionally fresh, and I was particularly impressed by the liveliness of the shrimp. Dishes like whale bacon, young bamboo shoots, shirako (cod milt), and sea bream roe are all seasoned carefully and pair well with sake. The grilled blackthroat seaperch, kinmedai (golden eye snapper), and grilled eel are also fragrant and satisfying. The restaurant's specialty, ojiya (rice porridge), is packed with ingredients and infused with broth, making it delicious until the very end.
