Founded in 1974, Koishi is a long-established meat kappou restaurant that has been in business for 50 years. Located a minute's walk from Motomachi Station, customers come from all over Japan to enjoy the warm hospitality and exquisite meat dishes. The meat dishes grilled over an exquisite heat are characterized by their tender and juicy yet refreshing flavor. In particular, the beef skewers, pork loin, and kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot) are loved by many customers every time they visit. The meat dishes served with our homemade miso sauce are guaranteed to give you an unforgettable taste once you try them.

All the dishes I ordered were delicious (roast beef, white beef tripe, beef skewers, grilled vegetable platter, flank steak, pork loin, chicken kamameshi). The staff's response was wonderful and very pleasant. The interior of the restaurant was clean. It was a very satisfying restaurant.

I have visited here many times before. The classics, beef skewers, tenderloin, roast beef, premium beef tripe, and chicken kamameshi, were all delicious as usual. The harami that I tried for the first time was also so tasty that I will definitely want to eat it again next time! The miso soup that came with the kamameshi was no longer the pork soup, and it tasted like only white miso, which I did not like. I really loved the pork soup that had a bit of sake lees in it, so I hope they bring that back. Also, the tenderloin steak came with onion and tomato salad, and the beef skewers had potato salad, but it seemed like I had to order those separately. I keep saying it was different before, but I think it must be the way things are done now with your son's generation. Since I am a regular customer, I felt a bit disappointed. I will come again. I support you. Please keep up the good work.

A friend went there, and the meat looked so delicious that I made a reservation right away! The service was also very kind. It was the second round since opening, but unfortunately, some items were sold out. However, everything I ate was absolutely delicious! I even ordered two types of rice cooked in a pot for the finale! I definitely want to visit again!

Koishimoyakujuusan also visited, and the second generation has beautifully inherited both the taste and techniques from the previous generation. The wife is always attentive to the customers and notices things before they even place their orders, making it a truly comfortable place. The restaurant is clean. The selection of alcohol is also good (personally, I especially liked that they had brown sugar shochu). Of course, the food goes without saying, but everything we ordered was delicious. The grilled beef skirt steak was particularly exquisite, and I ordered a second helping. The skewers and other meat dishes are also recommended. Furthermore, you should try the corn butter rice. There are so many recommendations that it's a challenge to eat everything unless you come with an empty stomach and a group of people.
