Unique form and particular taste Shimura is a popular Japanese sweets store in Mejiro. In addition to their existing Japanese sweets, they also have a wide variety of lunch menu items, all of which are of high quality. And nowadays, many people may have a strong impression of shaved ice when they think of Shimura. The unique cliff-like shape of the shaved ice is made with the special manufacturing method that only a long-established Japanese confectionery can offer. I was able to taste delicious shaved ice with a wonderful balance between offense and defense.

Running hotcakes 🥞💦. Ah! It's G.W. 🥞...which means it's almost over! ...which means it's almost over! That said, I love Shimura's pancakes 🥰 They're only available during the winter season. You can't go wrong with anko (red bean paste) from a Japanese sweets shop 💕 Soft and fluffy and moist. Nostalgic pancake batter. I wish I could eat them in midsummer too.

Shimura-san's cherry blossoms 🌸 are in bloom💕 I'm rather bad at shaved ice, but I really wanted to try Shimura-san's sakura. It was a cold day and I was freezing half the time, but it was delicious 😊The amazake syrup is so delicious. The amazake syrup is so good. I think I would have preferred amazake shaved ice!

Last Christmas, I had Shimura's pumpkin pancakes 🥞. They are famous for shaved ice, but I chose the pancakes! It was served with Christmas wagashi (Japanese sweets) that only a Japanese sweets shop can serve 💕.
