Osaka's ryotei culture is on the decline, but Hana Gaiko is still going strong as one of the oldest restaurants from the Edo period. The banquet was a pleasant experience, with the proprietress and the waitresses all behaving in an impeccable manner. The quality of the food was of the highest quality, and it was an experience I will only have a few times in my lifetime. I hope that the restaurant will soon regain its original Osaka flavor, and I wish for even greater prosperity for the restaurant.
