This is a takeout specialty in Tsuruhashi, where you can casually enjoy eel. Since they pack it after you order, you can savor the fluffy rice and eel at just the right temperature. The eel is slightly thin, but it has a fragrant and rich flavor. The sauce is not too sweet, has a good aftertaste, and pairs perfectly with the rice. They offer both kabayaki and unaju, and it's nice that you can choose the size. It's satisfying to be able to quickly take it home as a daily treat.
