This is a calm atmosphere shop that you can stop by while strolling through Shirakawa-go. There are leaves drying inside the store and in the garden, which makes you excited even before it starts. The grilled leaves allow the aroma of miso to permeate the ingredients, making the Hida beef, enoki mushrooms, maitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots very delicious. The meat is tender, and the combination with the leaf's aroma is incredibly tasty. The grilled iwana (char) is also fragrant and satisfying with its substantial size. Even the smaller soba noodles and pumpkin stew are carefully prepared, and the gentle flavor of the broth is comforting.
