When you find a small sign on the alley and enter, you are greeted with cheerful voices from behind the noren (fabric divider). The counter is lively, and if it's crowded, you might have to share a seat, but the small raised area in the back allows for a more relaxed and comfortable seating. The daily special comes with pickles and small side dishes, allowing you to take a moment to relax with some barley tea. The katsudon (pork cutlet rice bowl) is served hot and fresh, with a homely flavor that warms the heart. The beef curry has a smooth texture with a sharp spiciness, and it pairs well with salad, fruit, and miso soup. The omakase (chef's choice) includes meatballs, medium fatty tuna, roast pork, chicken, smooth mashed potatoes, and fluffy steamed buns, making it a delightful experience, and the takeout is a nice bonus.
