Fresh fish are lined up at the counter, and just looking at them is enjoyable. The sashimi is firm, and the akou (red sea bream) is particularly moist and delicious. The seared bonito has the aroma of myoga (Japanese ginger), shiso leaves, and garlic, enhancing its flavor. The fried and grilled dishes are also plentiful, with a fragrant octopus dish and tempura of conger eel and sandfish that make you want to order more. If you ask for the chef's recommendation, you can thoroughly enjoy everything from appetizers to simmered dishes, fried items, grilled dishes, and even the finale. The atmosphere is calm and traditional, yet lively, allowing you to savor local sake at a leisurely pace.
