I wanted to feel healthy, so I ordered a poke bowl, and I was excited about the freedom of ingredient combinations. I could choose a base of white rice, kale, or quinoa, and today I chose kale. The tuna and salmon were plump, and combined with the colors of avocado and cherry tomatoes, it looked vibrant and uplifting. The herb sauce with parsley and lemon tied everything together, and with each bite, a refreshing flavor spread. The crunchy texture of the almonds and onion chips added an accent, making it enjoyable to eat until the end without getting bored. After the meal, drinking the sweet sake beverage provided a natural sweetness that was comforting, leaving both my mind and body feeling refreshed and satisfied.
