My last visit was a long time ago when the TV program "The Restaurant that Refuses to be Interviewed" was still airing regularly. At that time, it was a donut shop tucked away in a back alley in Yoyogi Uehara, but now it is a popular store that has been named one of the 100 best stores on the food log. I wondered what I would do if the atmosphere inside the store or the service provided by the staff had changed significantly, but I am very happy to see that it has remained the same as it was back then. Kinako doughnut I thought there might not be anything inside. It is so fluffy that you might think there is nothing inside, but of course there is. I don't know how they cook them, but I don't think I've ever had a doughnut anywhere else that wasn't so heavy on the stomach. ●Cacao doughnut If you thought they just changed the above kinako to cacao powder, they are firmly different from the dough. The cacao acts like a seasoning for tasting the wheat flavor. I can eat as many as I want. Cappuccino I like regular coffee, but here they serve it as Americano. The artwork on the surface was so well done that it was a shame to drink it. We ate and drank inside the restaurant, but the constant flow of customers in and out was just as it was back then. It is an area I don't get a chance to visit very often, but I thought I would revisit when I go nearby.
