In a calming interior that makes use of an old house, you take off your shoes at the entrance and step into a tatami room. The noodles are slightly twisted and chewy, with a bounce that becomes more pronounced as you bite into them. The flavor of Rishiri kelp and bonito spreads in the unseasoned broth, which seeps gently into your body. There are plenty of condiments such as tempura, grated daikon, seaweed, sesame, green onions, and ginger, and a light squeeze of lemon adds an extra refreshing touch. It's also enjoyable to nibble on the dried sardines and bonito tsukudani on the table while waiting. The tatami room is equipped with chairs and picture books for children, making it a comfortable place to spend time, and it is very popular, so reservations are recommended.
