A friend from the restaurant where he was trained We have been friends with this izakaya since the restaurant where we were trained in the past, and we may have been coming here more often recently. That restaurant also had a very good CP in Minami and I used it quite often, but I also come here for a drink about twice a month. The restaurant is located just down the alley in front of the Family Bowl. Recently, there seem to be more and more stores on this alley, and there are even takoyaki being grilled in front of the store (by customers themselves!). It is a strange street, but I think Osaka people would find it interesting. The restaurant is a rather small kitchen with a counter seating four and a half (with only small chairs) and two tables seating four people, so it fills up quickly. So be prepared for the food to be served quite late in some cases. The menu is handwritten every day, the same style as at his restaurant. As he says that he has been trained as a fish connoisseur, delicious fish are lined up on the menu. The prices seem very cheap compared to the taste, but of course, they are not like those of chain izakaya restaurants. They will cook any item on the menu in any other way, so it is interesting to ask them what you want to eat. This time we had assorted sashimi, fried lotus root, hot vegetables, and a different version of the beef omelette, an octopus omelette with pike conger sauce. We also had a different version of the hamo omelet, an octopus omelet with pike conger sauce. My companion started with a white peach liqueur smoothie with pineapple, followed by a white peach liqueur with soda. The bill was about 10,000 yen. It is such a nice restaurant that I would have trouble waiting when I went there if it were more popular. By the way, the owner of this restaurant says he is not a good talker, but he is very friendly and is a craftsman who is very particular about fish. There are tables, but if possible, it would be better to sit at the counter and decide on the menu while discussing with the owner.
