Monaka is a standing bar with a Showa-era atmosphere. The interior has a small counter and standing space along the walls, and can accommodate about 11 people. Regulars who are used to the place may bring their own chairs and quickly turn it into a sit-down bar. Depending on the time of day, chairs may also be provided for a more relaxed drinking experience. The two-person staff creates a cozy atmosphere like that of a family. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere and we were able to relax and enjoy our drinks. The staff created a fun atmosphere and made us feel comfortable. The snacks were delicious and went well with the drinks. I would like to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance.
