The food was very good... I visited Pappa here for dinner with friends! The chef here has a slightly funny hair style... I have seen him many times on TV! Across the street from Pappa's is Barre Pappa, and I had a bit of a hard time deciding between the two! We made a reservation and visited with four people. It was a full house that day, so it was a good thing we made a reservation. The restaurant has a counter and tables. The counter must be fun to look at since it surrounds the kitchen! The menu is Cold Vegetables Bruschetta with sea urchin Parma Ham Salad Seared Mackerel and Marinated Autumn Eggplant Homemade anchovies Hot dishes Sauteed botan shrimp and bitter gourd Steamed scallion and mussels with white wine Gratin of small potatoes and Gorgonzola cheese Homemade handmade dried noodles (tagliatelle, chitarra and chitarra with salmon roe) Lobster sauce 4,500 yen Abalone sauce 3,500 yen Sea urchin sauce 2,800 yen Cured ham with mushrooms and mushrooms sauce 1,500 yen Swordfish Sauce 1,200 yen Roasted or Tomato Braised Whole Fish of the Day Today's fish of the day with dried tomatoes and shellfish sauce, aqua pazza style. Whole fish of the day with tomato or white wine lemon flavored seafood Price of the fish of the day: ¥1,000 Sautéed various vegetables with balsamic sauce Price of the fish of the day: Þ500 Sautéed snow crab and vegetables with balsamic sauce. Dessert Zuppa Inglese Tea pudding Panna cotta with honey eggplant and blueberry mousse There were many other dishes on the menu! I ordered Bruschetta with sea urchin It was gone in no time, but I was so excited! However, the sea urchin was a little too cold... Bamboo shoots with parmesan cheese Bamboo shoots in season are grilled with crispy cheese! Very fragrant, and the bamboo shoots are fresh and delicious! White wine 4 of us drank 2 bottles! Bucket & Focaccia I wonder if it's homemade? It was so good that I ate the bread even though the main course had not arrived! Firefly Squid and Beetroot Spuma This is also in season! It's so beautiful and gorgeous to look at! The richness of the firefly squid and the freshness of the beets go so well together! Tagliatelle with Hokkai Mussels and Garlic Butter Sauce As expected of homemade noodles! It's so delicious with a sticky texture! The extract from the shellfish was so good that it was gone too soon. Linguine with tomato and mozzarella cheese I was told that there were delicious tomatoes in this dish. This pasta is also delicious! Tomatoes and mozzarella don't go well together, do they? Today's fish meuniere with mussels in white wine sauce We ordered the recommended fresh fish of the day! The white fish was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and grilled to perfection! The mussels were small but had a great flavor! Pistachio Mousse Everyone else had gelato, but I had the mousse! I would have liked a little more pistachio aroma and flavor! It was delicious! Everything was delicious, and I felt that this is indeed a very popular restaurant! I'm sure they take great care in their cooking! The way they make the most of the ingredients, it was really delicious! However, I was very disappointed in the customer service! Except for one person, everyone was very agile and had a big smile on their face! I was a little worried about the menu because I wanted to try a lot of different dishes. I was rushed very much! When I asked him about the products, his tone was very aggressive. I understand that they are busy, but that was the discomfort that all the members felt that day. I understand that the ingredients are delicious, but it would be nice if the price was a little less. It was a little disappointing because the food was very good!
